  3. hey man could u run mine please ECR33-025838
  4. 's' shaped cam cover hose to suit r33 gtst series 1 or 2. bought from Nissan brand new about a year ago. still really soft, no cracks and used less than 5000kms. paid $40 $20 skyline 'S' badge in good condition. no chips or flaking. to suit series 1 only as the series 1 is slightly more curved than the series 2 's' badge $5 Genuine Nissan r33 gtr boot badge in good condition. no chips or flaking. removed from a gtr boot. $10 r33 gtst s1 factory exhaust cam gear. good condition. removed due to upgrade. $10 r33 gtst s1 coil pack harness in good condition. removed at around 130,000kms due to upgrade. Has been sitting around for a year. $10 r33 gtst s1 automatic ecu. this is the ecu located behind the driver side kick panel. in good condition. $5 Final inspection car polish. Purchased this less than 2 years ago and used the tiniest amount on my car. still practically a full bottle and has been kept sealed the entire time. read some really good reviews of this stuff on these forums. can be used by hand but reason for selling as the best results are achieved by using an orbital buffer/rotary machine which I don't have and never got around to buying one. from memory this polish wasn't cheap and paid around $40 for a 250ml bottle $10 R33 gtst series 1 coupe passenger sideskirt in excellent condition. I'm fairly certain these also fit series 2 r33's as well. Factory black Nissan colour. paint also in excellent condition. only 1 mounting clip provided but these are easy enough to find at autobarn etc. $15 would prefer local pick-up on all these items but may be willing to post the smaller items at buyers expense. located in ipswich
  5. yea I would be very interested in aftermarket ones too!
  6. just updating that I now have quite a few pairs ranging from size 9-13 lace-up and elastic. The lace-up's retail for around $150 and the elastics around $120 brand new.
  7. yes they are. both pairs. sorry I forgot to mention that. These are very comfy and supportive as well. I just started wearing a pair of the lace-ups to work the other day
  8. I currently have 2 pairs of brand new never worn king gee work boots still in there original boxes. Depending how much interest I get I have access to more sizes ranging from 9-13 in black or tan, lace-up or elastic. These aren't dodgy or defectable in any way and aren't stolen goods. Size 11 K25552 Wills Suede elastic: $80 Size 10 K27501 Burke Nubuck lace-ups:$90 I would prefer local pick-up but if I get enough interest I might be willing to post.
  9. yea mine too. probably about 5-10 mins of staying below 3k
  10. yea no problems here either. great to deal with
  11. spotted a very tidy white s2 r33 gtst 4 door. I was the black r33 following you through camira/redbank plains at around 3pm today. nice wheels
  12. thanks for that. i got a brand new battery yesterday but decided to put the old alternator back in as I didn't want to ruin a fresh battery as i don't think it could be anything else except for the alternator. when I put the new battery in I did start the car with the new alternator just for a minute to see if the battery indicator lamp still lit up which it did. Will get it tested and let everyone know what the problem is.
  13. I've already posted this in general maintenance but thought i'd post here as well for more exposure. as the title states im having a problem after fitting a brand new bosch alternator to my r33 gtst to replace the existing factory alternator. I did not have any problems with the battery or charging prior to this. I have the battery factory located in the boot and noticed after driving today that it was extremely hot to touch and liquid had started seeping out from it even though its one of those maintenance free batteries. Just before taking it for a drive I started it up to make sure everything was good and let it sit for a few hours then went to touch the alternator and it was still really hot. like it was still charging the battery or something. when fitting it I disconnected the battery as per usual and followed all the instructions, tensioned the belt correctly etc. I noticed on the factory alternator it had 2 cables screwed to it. a bigger one which goes to the battery and another little cable which screws to the alternator housing for grounding or something. but on the instructions with fitting the new one it only had the one big cable and plug connected. I'm thinking there is either something internally wrong with the alternator or that little cable wasn't meant to be fixed to it. anyone had any experience with these bosch alternators or has a picture of there install? it would help me out immensely. Thanks

  15. they are pretty much a direct fit except that you have to drill out 3 extra holes in the boot lid to accommodate the gtr wing. wasn't too hard just make sure to drill once, measure twice. or if you manage to get one already bolted to a boot lid it's a direct swap over
  16. hey man the best advice i can give is to keep looking. it took me about 2 years to find a good genuine wing in Brisbane as i wasn't willing to pay for post interstate and another 2 years to find a set of genuine nismo end caps. persistence is the key good luck
  17. another one gone! and what are the police doing about all of this? absolutely nothing! why not set up bait cars and catch these pricks once and for all and hopefully deter future thefts otherwise it will just keep happening.
  18. damn this is beyond ridiculous! just when i thought there were no more skylines getting stolen. ever since my first one was stolen my new one is garaged with a steering wheel lock and wheel clamp every night without fail. out of side, out of mind is the best advice I can give as it seems the majority of them are stolen from someone's driveway.
  19. that is an awesome job man! with regards to the chrome 'skyline' lettering i did the same too but did it a slightly different way. I had a r33 4 door s2 rear garnish and pried the chrome letters off then stuck them straight on to mine. absolutely love your engine bay!
  20. that is ridiculously cheap! shame i did the belts just recently
  21. yep that's the inner control arm bushes. I personally would change them as it's hard to tell the condition of them without removing the bushes but totally up to you. I simply did it for peace of mind and knowing exactly when they've been replaced. with regards to the tie rods i'm not exactly sure if they wear or not. They're the only things i didn't end up replacing.
  22. ok man heres a complete list of what needs replacing. I recently went through this myself and did notice a huge difference and no more knocking noises tie rod ends tie rods ( these screw onto the tie rod ends and go straight into the steering rack) upper inner control arm bushes upper outer control arm bushes lower control arm bush lower control arm ball joint (which is the one you posted a pic of and is the only ball joint on the front end like that one for a r33 gtst) radius rod bush that's pretty much everything on the front end without doing engine mounts and gearbox mounts. I'm not sure about the shock absorber bushes as I have coil overs and don't recall seeing any associated bushes with them. and with regards to greasing the wheel bearings through the abs hole it won't work as the bearing is an enclosed unit. anyone, if i'm wrong feel free to correct me
  23. hey man i recently purchased a nismo 320km/h dash cluster and can confirm it works. all plugs are exactly the same and everything works as it should. check this one out. This is the same one I purchased. Cheapest you'll probably find: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JDM-Nissan-GTR-R33-BNR33-Nismo-320KM-11000RPM-Cluster-Gauge-GT-R-RB26DETT-/261176664139?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3ccf57a04b
  24. selling a kumho tyre ku19, 275/30/r19 with about 40% tread. came off the rear passenger side. great for a spare or whatever. 2 years old. no punctures and has worn fairly evenly. Pick up only. $40 any questions feel free to ask
  25. i can answer one of your questions...yes it is normal for the dash lights to dim when lights are switched on +1 for checking alternator also
