  1. Cheers man, that explains a couple of plugs near the gearbox I was trying to suss out, it used to be an auto!
  2. + 1 for what the others said, but also check your head unit. I had a really annoying interference problem with a similarly setup system and I tried everything from noise filters, re-earthing, new RCA leads etc. Ended up replacing the head unit and the problem disappeared!
  3. V7. The shadow of the mountains in V6 looks too unrealistic.
  4. +1 Although missing the NISSAN raised writing
  5. Sorry for the late reply, took a while to get! It's KRCR32RGASL AA
  6. One more for me please? HCR32-268541
  7. What tyres are on them? Will you freight to SA?
  8. If I fitted R32 GTR brakes to my GTS-T, would the stock R32 rims clear them or would I need aftermarket rims? If so, what size and offset would I need? And would the guards need any rolling?
  9. Ha, does too! I did a search for R33 box instead of R34 box and found all the info I need. Cheers guys.
  10. That's the one I'm slowly working through sorting out finishing the conversion, doing the Navara/33 speedo trick at the moment and fitting some aftermarket gauges. I've rubbed half of it back ready for paint and bought some spare stockies for the track. Got a sound system that used to be in my old car for it etc. I hope it'll be ready for the road in about 3 months.
  11. Cheers mate!
  12. HCR32-277077 when someone has the time? Thank you

  14. Yes that works for an R33 box, but can it be done with an R34 box? As they seem to have only an electronic sender. If it will work I'll just to that.
  15. I'm going to graft a 34 dash cluster into the 32 and use the electronic speedo....try to anyway!
  16. The difference is about half an inch
  17. Thank you Boss-zilla and astrotristan
  18. I'm slowly finding time to work on my 32 and smooth out the issues with the RB25 install, but one problem I'm not sure how to solve. If someone could help it would be great. 1. The R34 gearbox (5 speed manual behind the RB25DET Neo) has a 'blanking plate' where the speedo drive should screw into. It also has a couple of extra electronic plugs, which leads me to think the R34 must have an electronic speedo drive and not a cable drive. Is this correct? 2. If this is so, what are my options for getting the R32 speedometer to display the correct speed. Can I pull of the blanking plate and use the 32 drive? Or is there a better/easier option? (I have searched the forum using a lot of different related search words but have not been able to find a post telling me what I need to know yet) Any knowledgeable help is appreciated.
  19. .....these two items (attached image)? They're located underneath the rear parcel shelf, photo's taken from inside the boot looking up. They say Clarion on them which suggests they belong to the sound system, but I can't identify them.
  20. If you only want an SAU member to do it and not a professional, why don't you just give it a go yourself? I reglassed three broken sections of my front bar and it came up a treat. Only cost me $20 in resin/matting.
  21. The most important thing IMO is what is his motive? If he's doing it up for himself there's some merit as tastes are personal. If he's doing it up to get positive attention from other enthusiasts (and I reckon he probably is if you're posting here for him asking what people's reactions would be) then he may as well give up now. There's certain cars that no matter what you do to them just don't cut it. I had a Daihatsu Charade GTti, which is a 3 cyl, twin cam, turbo, intercooled, injected etc etc little rocket which I modified and tuned till it would hammer all my mates in their Commodores, pulled 200 km/h (which in a Charade is seriously scary) and sounded sweet as. But at the end of the day, it's still a Charade/shopping trolley/chicks car and those were the sort of comments I got. For me, that was fine, it was a cheap, fun daily that didn't cost the earth to run/modify. But if your mate wants positive attention from other people, he won't get it in a riced up Lancer.
  22. I've found Shannons to be reasonably priced for modified cars but poorly priced for standard cars, which I found unusual
  23. PSI Parts, thanks anyway, but the kit you've posted isn't the same kit. You've posted the Do-Luck kit (which incidentally I just fitted to a mates 32) which is a nice kit but not what I'm after.
