I dont think its a bad idea, to be honest paying a few hundred dollars for the price of a plate then reseeling it in a years time or when you can get good money for i think is worth while. I have been looking into doing the same, i have found a combination that i know i will get money. There is a difference between doing this and a scalper. A scapler will buy a ticket to a concert, then after the concert is over you only have the memories (and a light wallet), a number plate you can have for as long as you want and have something tangable that you can hold in your hands not just a memory. Whats the difference in buying a number plate, holding on to it for a period of time then selling it for a profit to buying a second property, holding on to it for a bit then selling it at a profit when the demand is there? I think it is smart investment and good luck to you if you can get 5k, 10k or even 500 bucks.

Hey mate, i got a quote from of 1700-1800 from mtq in laverton, cnr of pipe rd and some other main road but cant remember what its called. They didnt seem to interested when i spoke to the guy in their tho, it was like he couldnt be bothered talking to me. If anyone else knows where to get one done id be very interested too. -

I had the same problem a few months back, changed spark plugs and it helped for about 20 mins of driving, i then changed my fuel filter and it was absolutly filthy. I found that i got a dodgy tank of fuel (BP deer park western hwy), i siphoned out the tank and filled up with new juice and it went like a rocket again. I know u haved changed the filter but what about the petrol? Just throwing my 2 cents in. -

Yeah ive had the dash out but damn wasnt it a pain in the arse, i ended up cracking the bloody thing an i look at it every time i jump in for a drive, its a small crack but i know its there! It must be a skyline thing, i may have a go at giving it a fix myself before summer comes round and also gotta get the a/c fixed by then. Why would they be made for hot air to constantly come out, it seems bloody strange to me

Ill be staying away from them and getting mine hi flowed. Ive read that you can a heap of damage, to the extent that an engine rebuild is needed.

Yeah ive had the dash out before but didnt notice it till a bit after i had done it, i might rip it out and have a look if the sensor is connected properly. The teeth slipping sounds about it, bugger it, how do i fix that, where is the best place to take the car to get that fixed up even, any1 know?

Hey all, my r33 gtst has hot air coming out at the feet constently thru the air vent. I also have a ticking sound that goes for about 5 seconds then stops from somewhere inside or near the aircon/heater in the dash when i change the positions on the climate control. My a/c dont work cos the belt broke a while ago so i cant use that to even it out, and i think it may need a new comp. It comes out pretty warm to, i can put up with it in the mornings a 5am going to work but not on the way home, i must have the windows down to let cool air in. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it. The ticking sound sounds like its plastic like the old days when you would put the plastic on ya spokes of ya rim to make the sound oon ya bike. Ive been told it could be solinoid but its not that type of ticking. Please help me someone or give me advice anything will do at the moment

I just moved to melton 2 years ago, from my time here it hasnt been to bad, nothing you wouldnt get in another suburb. I used to live in Epping for the 25 years and i can tell you a shit load of stories from there also. I think cos Melton has a bad name it will get mentioned in the news cos of the bad reputation. I work with a bloke who was good friends with all of the people that got the sudanese bloke and it has only been in the last few years that he turned sour from what he told me. I am not saying this bloke is a nice guy at all but i will say that drugs do a lot to people and ive been there first hand and i did change. Its very sad that a person gets belted like the sudanese guy did and the others get away with it scott free. why do the cops fight so hard for petty little crimes and not fight hard for the more serious crimes like these???? What a strange place we live in here. My best friend 10 years ago got killed by a drunk driver, driving on the wrong side of the road, speeding and was a hit and run, only his mum persuaded him to turn himself in - he got 3 years banned from driving, 2 year suspened sentece and about 100 hours of community service - no jail time!!!!. I dunno what people need to do to get a sentence they deserve but to me it should be an eye for and eye. Thats just my opinion.

I just bought a dvd tv head unit for my r33, prob is that i cant see any visual on the screen but can hear it. I heard ages ago this can happen cos the bropwn wire being the handbrake wire is not connected to ground, would this be true? It says on the screen that i cant view this function whilst driving, the thing is im just sitting in the car with the ign on. Should i ground the brown wire?

Yes it is untuned, i was guna save some money for a turbo then a tune. I drive the car very easy at the moment. I dont wanna waste getting a tune then in 2 months having to get another tune after getting the turbo. I hit 12 psi maybe 5 times since ive had the pfc put in, yeah i am risking a bit of engine damage but when the car is my daily driver and i need to floor it a bit to let a cop go thru or something like that, which happened only a week or so ago, so be it, but ive been very careful as to change at about 2800-3000 light accelaration so bugger all boost. The tune will be happening very soon cos now youve gotten me all worried. Gota use the left over moeny from my wedding to do so. Ive got the t boost wound all the way down but its still boosting up. The pfc is brand new so there is not another cars tune on it.

I know itl be better in the long run with a tune and when i get my new turbo (gota still save a bit more) but i just didnt think it would be so different, it feels like ive lost power and not gained any. Soapy water around the clamps would do a similar thing wouldnt it, if checking for leaks? The blow off sounds sooo much better, bugger putting as aftermarket one on now!

Ok so ive installed my fmic and just went for a drive and have noticed a few things. 1st question - should the pipe going into the cooler at the bottom right (looking at the front of the car) be hot and the bottom left be cold or the other way around? 2nd question - ive wound my t boost all the way down and im still hitting close to 12 pound by 3.5 k but doesnt pull as hard as when i had the stock cooler in, it just gathers boost slowly instead of bang its there, is this right? 3rd question - Is there anyway i would know if i have it done the install wrong? eg, different sounds 4th question - My car now idles around 1k where as before it would sit about 800rpm, is this cos of the cooler? 5th - Do i need to do the self learn on idle again with the pfc, it is untuned atm? Thanks

I was guna solder it originally seeing as its such a small job but didnt know if it would bond to together, so thats why i thought about welding it instead. So i could solder it instead could i?
