  1. Its coming together
  2. Other than a fluid change the only thing I would recommend would be to replace the circlips in the transmission to stop the FWD transfer gear falling off with the resulting damage it causes. Hope that helps
  3. In short - No. Our road testing procedure is different. That is all.
  4. May the ATTESSA be with you!
  5. The gearbox is pretty well setup in this car Additional transmission bracing will be about the only further upgrade to stop the case splitting - which is a sensible upgrade for most any GTR!
  6. You can make PLENTY of power from an R35 GTR engine with 6 x 2000cc injectors and the right fuel system in the stock injector position. HKS are probably making up for the lack of the piggyback computer they use being able to control a decent sized injector. Additional injectors were cool back in the VL days.....
  7. Someone make a Xmas card out of this and send it to Paul Ellis. I wonder who wished they were driving what?
  8. Exactly...we had some < 300km from new factory R35 GTR turbos on the shelf for $250 each
  9. Just a heads up on this one as I know a lot of folks dont go right through our website figuring its R35 only. Around once a week we will field a call asking about the 'right' transfer ATTESSA fluid to use in R32 onwards Nissan AWD cars, so here is the answer - We have had this at Willall Racing for quite a while now, WR35ATS designed to deliver greater clutch torque to the front wheels during ATTESSA actuation, and do so without degrading at high temperatures (>120C) as conventional ATF base fluids do. In other words you should be able to drain the transfer after a couple of years on the track and it should still look (and work) like when it first went in, not black burned and horrible as no doubt your existing ATTESSA fluid does. Its some of the wet clutch lubricant technology we have been working on for a long time now carried over to the R32, R33, R34 (and any ATTESSA-ETS)GTR. Around 3 litres should get the job done. Driveability improvement - particularly for older transfer cases that are starting to get marginal on clutch lining life - is a marked improvement. Heres the link - http://www.willallracing.com.au/lubricants.htm#wr35ats Let me know who wants to be the SAU reporter on this and we will inject your transfer case full of WR35ATS for a very good rate
  10. Was a good season. Great to see the Willall boys (Barty and Marty) taking 1st and 2nd in the top Open Modified class Even if I do say so myself....its a tough championship thats for sure over 9 rounds!
  11. Be interested to hear Miles comments on his new brake upgrade (if he ever logs on an checks this thread!)
  12. The Akro system is very nice, however it does tend to hang a little low in the middle section on the cars I have seen them fitted to. The number of flattened GTR tail section exhaust pieces I have seen from straddling a kerb at the race track....
  13. Excellent stuff Miles!
  14. Speedah, do something about those brake temps before you destroy them. This guy seems to be onto something - http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?/topic/61425-willall-gtr-brake-cooling-system-track-results-updated/ As the only effective brake cooling system that exists in the world for GTR its worth your consideration. Forum sponsors CRD and Mercury both sell and install WR35WS

Transmission hardware for the 2011 GR6 is identical to the 2009/2010 cars. There are some small ancillary differences such as slightly different oil pan design, one fluid magnet rather than two etc. Nothing you would consider a design change. Take that from someone that has stripped both transmissions
  16. Sled, two of the 3 x WR450 kitted GTRs entered had been to WSID. The one in the video has run 10.7 @ 132mph and one of the others 10.9 @ 128mph. They feature our WR450 98/E85 switchable tune, Injectors, pumps, and Titanium exhaust systems All of them genuine 10 second daily driven street cars.
  17. Here is a pic I found of Kevs
  18. Congratulations guys, huge day for you blokes and for us with Marek, Duncan and Kev coming 2nd, 3rd and 4th outright in the Temora 1000 sprints. All cars featured our mail order Cobb AP Switchable E85/98 Octane tunes with 950cc injectors, and were only pushed off the top step of the podium by a Nissan Powered 600rwkw VL Commodore Race Car. Fantastic work, now lets see some pics!

Yes, we have been doing this for a few months now. Nissan cant do it with the Consult to the best of my knowledge. Speedah on here has 2011 LC4 in his 2010 ADM GTR

    Fuel Smell

Back on topic.....yes thats where the canister is to control tank pressure/emissions. In my experience its not an issue.
  21. Going to be an intense battle in the Open Modified class eh Blue32
  22. Nice work Kev, not bad for a mail order tune (looking at the video you left 3/10ths on the table)
  23. Crikeys.....2 wheeler!
