  1. I think Seb was just trying to put a price on Carbon..... Fungoolie, show us the vids please, thanks, ta
  2. The Technocraft seats had be be replaced with FIA/CAMS approved items for the cars competition work. That was done some time back now
  3. Well done, good to see the car stand up on the day and perform as expected
  4. Thanks Madaz, we put a lot of effort into the design of our R35 parts and technologies and its great to see them being used competitively in Tarmac Rallying in both the VIP Petfoods and Burns for Blinds stables, and winning to boot!
  5. Good news is the Sims/Sims GTR that features all of our R35 Technology won the AHTR outright at a canter Also Sebs R35 monster went well as a course car -
  6. Time for an update on this one. A great example of a car thats driven rather than garaged the SlipR35 has been out and about so far this year and with some exception all round results. The highlight of which was the outright P1 at Mt Alma Mile the fastest and most hotly contested hillclimb on this side of the nation Several Time Attacks finishing in the Top 5 (on radials) and slick shod 12 second laps of Mallala all show how good this car is, particularly it has a new carbon set of skins on it - rear bar, front bar, bonnet, fenders, doors...its got the lot Working out hard this weekend as course car at the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally...and looking dirty, like a properly used GTR
  7. Let me look into your future Munro...... I see a titanium midpipe, thats right nice and light with a resonator to reduce drone. I also see, wait for it, a full Ti exhaust system dropping another 15kg off the weight of the car. Finally, do you know someone called Cobb? I think he is telling me your engine needs tuning. I see something blue, a set of AWD Mainline rollers, it has a number, does 400awkw mean anything to you?
  8. - Its a review that only exists to fire up internet forums - The Porsche comparo has obviously run its course
  9. Excellent work! Well done (Thats one of the reasons if I asked had the engine been out)
  10. You should Water Spray those brakes..... Two things I would do - Replace battery just for the fun of it - stop any stray noise potentially on the CAN bus. Secondly drop the Steering Lock and lubricate the firing pin I know none of this makes any sense - but give it a go
  11. Has the engine ever been out of the car?
  12. Its not over yet.....(the trying) Take the battery out of the car (disconnect it) for 5 minutes and reboot the CAN bus.
  13. Could well be the steering lock issue.....
  14. Ok Plug in your Cobb AP From the main menu select - Troubleshooting From there select - Read Codes Write them down Post them here
  15. Fault codes please
  16. With the new Injector Scaling and Load calc code that John Banks has written into the Cobb software for the R35 the injector reporting function back to the 'Fuel Used Out' channel should and does stay exactly in phase. Between switchable maps in the R35 its possible to have discrete injector scaling, which means both E85 and 98 octane will report correctly on the dashboard. A nice and cheerful injector that does the job properly with good physical properties is the Deatschwerks 950cc. This will give you capability up to 500awkw on E85. Thankfully since we are talking about a properly specced factory ECU, there is no loss of injector control with a 950 on board - or at least none that we can measure
  17. We were the first in Australia to run E85 on the GTR (second in the world I think) so we have plenty of experience in the area. Customers like LSX-438 simply switch between fuels using their cruise control buttons. Its quite elegant. If in Sydney the Rozelle E85 is the - only - fuel we could recommend from the pump, some other E85s have proven to be E60 when tested.
  18. Bad news Jenna Time to get a new one and start the fun again!
  19. Mizuno maybe misunderstood you....as what he has told you is incorrect - as proven here by fungoolie etc. The ADM GTR has what the Nissan software creators term JF09E launch control logic. That is in both ADM2009 and ADM2010 models. This means that Launch Control 3200rpm is readily available with RRR on or off. Double pump the throttle etc and you can trick it to 4000rpm. Install the Cobb AP-NIS006 upgrade and you have 3800rpm VDC on or off at your disposal. If you are not getting Launch Control active in your MY09 GTR then you are not doing it right - and it can be a little tricky and inconsistent
  20. You are a funny bugger Simon (He probably tried to Scando it)
  21. Its actually a straight.....but hey who cares
  22. There is my point I think the biggest revelation has been Australian drift #2 driver Simon P switching over to Time Attack level format from Drift. He is super competitive at the pointy end - but he did spend a lot of time developing the car for the new format. He also nearly binned it in the fence on Iron Chef corner
  23. I like your style Good to have feedback from someone that drove it on the day. In most instances that corner even in fast cars is 'Wide Open'
  24. Back to Heslos thread, I will have a look at work for any 33 parts that we have that may help you
