  1. When you go to install the TCM it will tell you which software version you have, then install KB15B (I think thats the code off the top of my head) LC4 VDC OFF V101...or at least thats what we like to use. Its nice Once finished - Set CC and TP values to zero then perform a Clutch Gear Relearn. Set CC and TP to desired after that. Start with CC +1, +1, and TP 0, 0
  2. I must admit I enjoy reading Hot Tuner. The team behind it are really good folks and they do test the cars properly. They could probably do with a bit more variety in the field, but hey, thats life!
  3. It makes - very nice - power to Speedah
  4. We dont get invited to Hot Tuner. I think you need to be a big advertiser in Motor to get a guernsey in it, hence its the same folks/cars every year. Plus - problem being that even a bone stock R35 would destroy everything in the competition
  5. Ok Kev, your WR600 conversion is now complete. Come pick it up mate
  6. Great drive impression on the WR600 by Paul Cockburn in the latest Motor......
  7. Tried to talke Speedah into Syvecs.....next time maybe
  8. Yes its a good thing, went and match raced 'Stretch Collins' today on the Superbike at Mallala, but unfortunately we got hosed off pretty well as the driver got a little distracted. Dont know why.....
  9. Looking forward to it!
  10. A fitting end to a superb project. Before heading back up to Northern Australia our 'Interesting Build' gets a going over by local detailing ace Hamish (Elite Finish)
  11. I think I did over 150 launches at various events in my Evo X (the white one). Never missed a beat. Its actually good for them from time to time to deglaze the clutches
  12. 'Test pad' thank you Domino
  13. Domino, it shows to boost slower than it actually does as we needed to use a faster ramp rate on the dyno to keep full traction at all four. In other words its not that much laggier than stock, with a massive seam of torque once its 'on' Quite impressed with this combo actually
  14. A quick look at one of the WR600 GTRs technology tricks, being able to build 10psi of boost quickly and easily at just over 3000rpm then put it down through all four wheels for massively fast getaways.....
  15. WR35FS3 Triple Pump 900 litre per hour fuel system now installed and ready for tuning......
  16. Good work Jet!
  17. Temora was all about traction over time. Sebs Alpha 12 was easily faster than the WR600 through the acceleration increments once it had achieved full traction, however finding that traction balance was difficult on the day. It didnt help that Sebs car was running Dunlop road tyres where the WR600 was using the SportMaxx version (as a test, which worked well) Towards the end of the day when Seb really got into the car it was indeed faster in elapsed time than the WR600 head to head however the track had gone off to the point where no more fast times were run. On a dragstrip it would have been a very different story - as you might expect. Temora is no real test of car performance rather the ability to adapt to the surface.
  18. Probably not, too close to Legend of the Lakes, which I prefer to the straight line stuff
  19. Running in dyno pull at 20psi of boost pressure. Responding nicely
  20. No doubt we would have been much quicker/faster on a proper asphalt surface. Temora is a little like spray pave, very gravelly, hence its hard to get going
  21. Yeah, nice work You didnt do too bad either Brian. Your time would have landed you 2nd outright or something last year! Nice to meet you and the missus too
  22. Good new is highly respected journo from Motor - Paul Cockburn - had a drive of the WR600 on the day. You will be able to read his thoughts on the car in a coming issue of Motor. I cant wait, but I can say I was bloody impressed with his driving, having not driven a GTR before other than at traffic speeds he gave it plenty and showed that no matter what the public might think of the way motoring journos drive, they do in fact do it every day for a living, and it shows!
  23. WR600 sets new track record for the Temora 1000 and takes 1st outright in 2012 0-100km/h 2.9 seconds (gravelly surface) 0-1000m 19.2 seconds @ 292km/h
