  1. Thanks DiRT! Great to hear, this pipe is also one of the most popular and consistent re: INDEPENDENT dyno results Stateside There are a couple of reasons for this. The first is that we use a reversion 'stub' in the pipe inlet to promote turbulent rather than laminar air flow the moment the exhaust enters the pipes. Secondly is we use the diffuser in the Y section which is a carefully calculated length of flat plate that in effect balances the resonance and noise of the system. In other words we can have the same db reading as a lightly muffled system without the restriction, weight, and expense of adding 'cans' to the system. Thats the difference, we like to engineer stuff with a solid thought process rather than just make something that looks cool and shiny
  2. These cars are very 'balance' sensitive in the chassis. Its very easy to throw them off their game and have small changes result in lap times heading the wrong way. This is one reason we stick with the Dunlops when we test as it gives the chassis total symmetry in its behaviour. I know that all sounds very Zen, but it is indeed easy to make the car 'faster' to go 'slower'....will take your advice on the setup! My pleasure, great to see you happy with it mate! Very soon I will have something that will extend the life of your factory front rotors and stop them cracking on the track
  3. We are reassembling your transmission today, and have prepared your WR35TC cooler kit for shipment. Our new high durability gearbox innards are an absolute work of art, so I am sure you will be happy
  4. Thats good to see. The WR35MP Willall Racing Midpipe made in Australia by Australian Fabricators (not China) using high grade stainless, full length flex joints, TIG welding, and featuring our internal deflector plate to dampen noise without adding the restriction of a muffler(s) is $800 on your doorstep. Great comparison
  5. A picture says a 1000 words, and R35 GTR is a GIANT!
  6. Sammy its up to you, however the GTRs we build for clients, we change it out straight away. As for your instance, yes, you would notice the change and smoothness (reduced chatter and binding) of the diffs straight away
  7. Maybe these prices were just a figment of the auctioneers marketing department....tell me do you know anyone that would pay three quarters of a million for a 1971 Ford Falcon? Think about it if you like
  8. How about you try WR35DF....its superior in terms of high temperature track performance and anti-bind to anything else out there
  9. Yes thats more than likely the case
  10. Finally a man with some real taste and style! Dont think I would have lasted long though....first challenge I would have Pissati and the Cartoon bloke building their own Mardi Gras float....betchya they could do it good too
  11. How about the twits just used the 2010 Launch Control and let it go at 3000rpm rather than rolling and bogging it off the line....would have been 1/2 second in that from all accounts
  12. Sorry to be a prick Roy.... C4 ZR1 = Quad Cam NA with Lotus designed heads C6 ZR1 = LS9 Supercharged 6.2 LS3 derived engine C6 Z06 = LS7 7.0 litre atmo All junk but
  13. Spotted this collection of Skyline and GTR 'Sikness' at Mallala today
  14. Spent some time in the real world today actually Spot the car with the gearstick
  15. Spotted......Willall Racing yesterday
  16. This is one of those - "If you havent driven it then you wouldnt know" threads. Birds might think he has a point, and in his mind he probably does...in the real world though its different. Welcome to the future. As one of the US guys said, I am going to send our R35 GTR back in time to kill the first car to have a gearstick, and Sarah Connor, all at the same time. Thread Terminated.....but not before I say "Handbrake I have your midpipe waiting for you, and it sounds the biz"
  17. This is a joke right?
  18. Well its not like you are ever going to have a GTR now is it Munro... Im thinking a Mazda 3 SP23 with a 'Growler' air filter or similar and Trust cannon out the back
  19. Its a good post that one. Although Newton didnt actually clarify the law, he did put many of the building blocks in place showing how energy was conserved in his mass-spring system http://ccrma.stanford.edu/~jos/pasp/Energy...n_s_Second.html However this is a GTR forum, hows everyones 35 transmission temps holding up
  20. Bloody R35 owners.......oh hang on its Munro
  21. The problem is not a problem with stock tuned cars, but rather the heavily modified examples. There are several issues causing the GTR to go into reduced power mode, but most of it can be tuned out with careful mapping, it just takes a different approach from the tuner - less 'gung-ho' would be the term to use
  22. No, only whats there.........
  23. Time to clean out the shed and get rid of some excess tyre stock we have collected over the past few years. These tyres are Cash and Carry we will not ship them interstate or waste time packaging them. By all means if you are an interstater and can get a local to pick them up then thats fine. Some great tyres on offer here so get in quick and grab a GFC bargain! 24. True...didnt think too many R35 owners would be trawling them looking for adjustable cam gears or e-brake buttons though. My bad
