R compound rubber is great through the hills, but noisy and a PITA in normal road driving. Its also not the best stuff to use down the strip. Like I have told ya, and always told ya, there are easy 1.8 60 foots in your car with a set of Nittos or BFGs on board.

Look at ssgen3 in Sydney with his current model Monaro (stock manual 6 speed box), 1.63 60 on slicks !! That setup would knock a WHOLE second off your ET Matt.
