  1. Hey TJ did you check this one?(it's good even to rebuild it ,so no need to remove yours until it's done) http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-S2-Stagea-Ti...A1%7C240%3A1318
  2. today ,around 8 pm.went to fountain gate s.c. to do the weekly shopping, when driving along magid drive saw a car coming and I was thinking about how cool looked the HID lights...and suddenly I realized it was ablack S2 stagea...sorry didn't wave or do anything... BTW on tuesday my wife was watching the news and during a note about the gale at the back was a grey stagea + a bloke that works with me saw one at Parkhill medical center(if you are reading this he was watching around your car 'cause he thaught it was me...)
  3. So after reading about 3" dump pipes and beside my economic situation ,I bought a second hand mild steel 3" dump/front pipe on eBay (looks like shop made ,not a single piece it's 3 pieces whelded together) Now the point is I need the size of the screws : 1-that fix the pipe to the turbo 2-pipe to cat concerter 3-cat converter to cat back Help me ,please (and sorry I'm a cheap ass...I know)
  4. That intercooler doesn't look much bigger than the standard S2 one(maybe good upgrade for a S1) as the R34Gtt fmic upgrade says in the DIY section: Time to measure it up, the core is 80 mm thick, compared to the standard Stagea's 65 mm. The core is 210mm wide and 225mm high (18 rows) while the standard Stagea intercooler is 210mmmm by 185mm (15 rows). This would indicate an improvement in flow of 23%, R34GTT is 206kw and Stagea is 170kw, that's a 21% improvement in power. Seems logical that Nissan would have some mathematical basis for upsizing the intercooler maybe the arc has better air flow?but for $880... anyway looking around find this(the price is a little bit crazy I recon ),but is another option... http://www.avoturbo.com/avoshop/product_in...products_id=241 plus the old VL turbo one (BTW there was one on sale on eBay for 100) http://www.avoturbo.com/avoshop/product_in...products_id=224 after all the research think to keep the standard one until boost goes up...:-)
  5. After playing so much with the photoshop and the pics of my car ,was thinking is anybody else so silly to do it or to watch them? So decided to make this topic...this is part of my pics...hope you all like them and hope to see more from you...
  6. My little opinion is ... 1st.go with a apexi panel filter 2ndyou can do full 3" exhaust system(or you can do cat back first then do dump pipe+cat converter) 3 air fuel computer You don't need a FMIC untill you start to raise your boost (If it's a S2 the smic is pretty efficient) again it's just my opinion...
  7. Let's go straight to the facts: PROS: Well built(before buying my S2 ,tried a toyota caldina...toy car) Full size wagon(plenty room, comfy seats...I carried 5 doors just folding rear seats) All the gadgets you can spect from an import(all electronics...plus optionals ,like like sunroof,HID lights,TV,SatNav ) Very safe car ,rated 5 star in japan and russia,as far as i've seen (plus it's heavily built) Lots of variants (Bodykits, wheels ,upgrades)(mine is higher ,even than standard but with a solid ride) Standard parts are compatible with R33/R34 Skylines Looks good and drives even better (Lots of power +AWD) CONS: Fuel comsumption(you need to feed your horses) Ideal fuel...Premium As every import part's price depend on dollar convertion Cannot take it to any mechanic(mostly for peace of mind) In your case Think it's a road performance AWD wagon (won't like rought/soil roads a lot) Insurance is a little bit pricier Hoons will try to race you at most traffic lights With the time you will start to think about upgrades(Not making the miss happy)....;-) Good luck, hope the stag will fit you...

  13. That was a sick experience...better never get of your car...remember you have 1700 Kg. of steel around you +you never know what does the sick individual have...you can have a lock but he can have from a stupid knife to a gun so avoid the hand on hand confrontation ( remember since the invention of gun powder there is no more cowards...)

  15. Just to keep it alive...and hopping that something is going to happen...
  16. Lucky you...at least you have a lip that you can remove if something like that happened to my car I 'm F#*&%ed...
  17. Have a question...are commo/ford tyres so cheap?'cause I can imagine the situation of a commo/ford driver 6:00 am wake up 6:30 start car and do burn out reversing on driveway 7:00 arrive work and do a couple of dougnuts in parking lot 13:00 do more burn/dougnuts at macas' parking at lunch time 13:00 return work more burn outs in carpark 17:00 clock off and big burn out driving out of work 17:30 stop for gas and fast sprint going out of petrol station 18:00 get home one more burn out for the neighbours... Yep another day in in a commo/ford life

  22. I feel very bad about what happened /happens ,I can understend why people lives in country areas...like I can understened people like me that lives in suburban areas (I live in Narre Warren)and if the wind changed it's direction the fire that started near the Harkaway area sure could claim more victims because it could affected more populated areas...my point is what happened ,nobody could predict it,circunstances were at it worst ,grass was dried out everywhere ,plants that the day before were green ,now are all dry ,no one saw it comming, and nobody was safe...I put myself in the placeof that people (just easy to say ,hope nobody has to go throught it)that lost more than propperties and memories, there's people that have lost family,friends,neighbours...lost of persons that make what your life is...so my condolences to that people that the fire took even a piece of their soul... (one last thought like one character said in a tv series..."life is a bitch with a 20" strap on" cannot believe that bloke that HE stayed to save the house...and his family died...unf###%believable......................)
  23. My usual question ...Is it members only? Can I go?How much is the run for "outsiders"?
  24. Nice job,but ,did you reposition your oil cooler?I allways had the doubt if the 3 layers(fmic/cooler/radiator)don't create a "hot spot" slowing the air flow...
  25. This is a pic of a turn flow blitz fmic(aka stealth because uses same pipping as standard one) one I like the way the return was made, hiding behind the ic and one that i found in a japanese page that uses a normal cross flow fmic ,but with the return done with the pipping(running behind the radiator)
