yer i have, it worked a bit but i think the paints a bit too far gone. It still looks alright, but i want that new car shine lol. I did do the polish myself with a friend so it wasnt professional, but we did a good job and my mates done it few times so i think we did all right. i used good products too. Does it make much of difference if you get it professionally done, i wasnt sure if itd just be a waste of money.

Hi, ive got an r34 GTT and i wanted to get a respray. Its like a Ferrari red and i really like the colour but its getting a bit faded so i wanted to get it touched up. I dont really care about getting the engine or anything painted i just want the outside done. I was hoping someone would know roughly how much it costs, i thought it might be a bit cheaper considering i want the same colour done or as close to as possible, but ultimately i jsut want it too look nice and new again. I live in Adelaide so if anyone knows of the some places here and roughly prices itd be greatly appreciated.

Back to the point lol, personally i think lancers with cosmetic styling is a bit lame, i always think you nob when i see them on the street and enjoy smoking em at the lights lol. If you put some cool but sublte (so not too over the top) rims and an exahst on it, it would be an alright p plater car. There are alot of NA jap cars out there other than lancers though. What about s13 Silvia NA, 33 NA, Integra, prelude, Civic hatch and even NA supras can be pretty cheap. Anyway there are my ideas and theres alot of others i didnt list. Lol btw i can understand about the insurance, mines 2500 a year myself lol, kinda sux but id never settle for a non turbo

Definitely go the Autostyle R34gtr blue, it looks sic, the darker version blue looks alright too but i think i like the baby blue more. Id keep the car clean though if you go putting hardcore body kits on it with that paint, it might start to look a bit over done.

That $2000 to fit; is that just fitting the wide fenders or also the side skirts front bar, rear bar and bonnet too? Also roughly how much do you think it would be to spray all that after, or is that price including spray too?

Lol why will i blow my turbo, i just need to take off the boost controller for like a week until I've got it passed at the cop shop. I dont see why removing the boost controller will blow my turbo, according to what everyones said on the forum itl be running around 5 to 7 psi which is 4 psi less than what ive got it running on now (which btw its dyno tuned at so its not unsafe for my turbos)

yer i checked that out, its a copy (still made by sunline) of the original carbon kit but not made in carbon lol, its about $5600 i think for the front and rear fenders plus side skirts, its a pretty sick kit ive been looking into it. Lol dont really have the money right now though, and im putting in a front mount, plus getting a detail. The wide body kit is still on my to do things list, its just gonna take a while lols.

I think the green is little extreme lol, it would look alright if the rest of your car was a bit more tricked out, also i think you'd need bigger rims aswell. My opinion is go the green bot only do the lip like the others said with the red. The green lip would look cool, be unique and not too over the top.

Hey, i was hoping someone new what the stock boost for the r34 GTT is once youve removed your boost controller. I'm putting it back in but it wont be for a few weeks so i was just wondering what kind of boost id be running until i put it back in.

Right you are about paranoia, if anything the 34 looks more impressive in a carpark despite the fact its only a gtt, however, my opinion on the whole paranioa thing is your going to worried no matter what; sports cars, jap cars etc will always be a target of dickheads so you just have to be careful. Avoid parking it in multi story car parks or in dark streets, make sure its garaged, and try not to really leave it anywhere un-populated at night. I love my 34 GTT lol, even though it doesnt have all the specy shit the 33 gtr's got it still goes pretty hard with a few mods and will be a fair dragster with a good set of tyres on them. Mines got a 3 inch cat exauhst the whole way through, a boost controller and aftermarket tein suspension and that gives it enough power to leave some try hards in the dust lol. As for teh boot, i picked my unlce up from the airport the other day and i managed to fit his suitcase in there, it wasnt exactly a monstor luggage carrier but it was a decent size so i presume youd be alright fitting luggage in the boot of both cars as i presume space wise they're fairly similar. Also suprisingly the 34's actually got quite alot of room in the back seats so you could always cram shit in there if you want.

Id say its your coils, if your coils are screwing up or you get dodgy ones installed; all those lights will be thrown up (at least in my experience). I Bought some DIS ignition coils for my 34 when my old ones died, turns out i got a dodgy batch and all those lights were thrown up lol. Once i put the new replacement ones in the lights went out, the car also ran a lot smoother when shifting. If after trying satanics suggestion the problem isnt fixed my money would be on the coils. Get splitfire or DIS, Splitfire have a better name but DIS are cheaper and i cant really tell the difference between my coils and the splitfires in a mates 34.

Hmmm, lol im currently torn between the cross factory kit and the sunline racing kit. Im leaning more towards the sunline kit, its just very expensive. Hopefully this new job pulls through and then ill have quick cash to put the whole project together. Ive only got half a year before i gotta go back to uni lols, if i dont get this bad boy fitted soon its gonna take a long time scrounging for cash on shitty uni allowance to fund the whole thing ahahaha

I was hoping someone could give me some rough costs on how much itd be to spray front fenders and front bar (in ferrari red colour more or less). I'm currently working on converting my r34 GTT into more of a GTR look alike. Any estimates no matter how rough would be helpful and atleast a good start for me.
