  1. i'd say call around to a few performance workshops and see what they say.

  3. how do u exactly do a leak down test, always been curious about this.
  4. thanks for that informative post roy. i'm using r33 gtr 440 injectors, alittle jerky when cold otherwise good @ low revs, if my memory serves me right it also has to do with the ECU fuel cut deceleration setting.
  5. i think its now a hi flowed gcg r33 unit it taking me 17psi t make 207rwkw and a 2530. so 211 @ 14psi is pretty good i reakon. (i understand dynos are abit diff too)
  6. thats a damn good price, i paid 1600 for mine from nengun just over 12months ago
  7. sorry to see such a thing! have you been able to point the finger yet?? or that aint possible?
  8. out of curiosity i'd like to know how to make the lower rev range more snappy on a rb motor???
  9. that will keep you busy. good luck finding someone
  10. hey gtst did the blocking of the bleed hole make any difference??? been thinking of doing it for a while now george
  11. I have the same problem with my rb20 and 2530, knocks on roads (h/c) and on the dyno it wont knock anywhere. wish i could help ya. I've taken it to CRD twice since its initial tune but they can find nothing.
  12. silver gtst , should be interesting, i've seen one other r32 without afm and it had a very snappy throttle response
  13. a gopher - no more than $25k and being 17-18 yrs without qualification is pretty damn good Got my last guy from Seek.com, but be prepared to cop atleast 20 emails a DAY....ATLEAST. Drove me mad at how many applications i got, but be patient, plenty of people who are fresh off the boat people trying to get a job out there & plenty of people who bullshit about what they can do. thats my experience with job seekers.
  14. hey silver gtst hows your new turbo going?
  15. but think about what u just said, it that really giving u a good tune?? your gonna be tuning it for lower load points on the dyno then it hits the road and its using higher load point which wasnt tuned as well. u got a dyno to simulate the road conditions and u dont use it to the full potential, i think thats abit silly. thats my 2 cents, no disrespect to anyone.
  16. trust chick is hot
  17. i've got a similar setup (2530/RB20) and i'm not making as much power but mine seems to come on boost full boost (18psi) about 400-500rpm earlier from what i can see on your graph.
  18. have tried punching the numbers into google???? or tried calling a performance shop/supplier??? if u cant come up with anything, you might need to get them flow tested which will give you all the detail u need.
  19. i'm in for the 11th
  20. got mine today as promised! nice work!
  21. gtst go abit darker, i did mine the legal limit and i alway wished it was a touch darker, its just alittle too transperent.
  22. i rang around looking for dunlop sp9000 for my 16x7s and they said they didnt exsist.....hmmm interesting i'm using Goodyear F1 GSD-3's on my rears and they seem ok in the dry about 6.5 /10 and about a 7.5/10 in the rain (cost $190 about 9 months ago) i used them at eastern creek curcuit and they heat up quick and start to wobble abit.
  23. check out the group buy section, Sydneykid is offering some good stuff there.
