  2. not all of them, when i was buying my r32.....only saw 2 with the rb20 stamped on them....the other 5 or 6 didnt have em
  3. as above, with or without plug. resonable price thanks PM me George
  4. hey, i've got my pfc in now and taken the car for a light run...i'm finding the afm to reaching 4.9V on stock 32 actuator boost(2530 turbo) on a hot day. Am i gonna have trouble with this when i up the boost and have it tuned and have it out on a cold night?....i'm sure the car isnt putting down any great numbers at the moment...should i take the risk and take it to the tuner with the stock afm? any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers
  5. Got it all running....initialised the pfc and it ran beautifully, change the 80+ cranking timings to help it kick over when hot. Took it for a drive, found that my injectors are maxing out(stockers) at 5500rpm.......AFM voltage hit 4.9V, knock was tops of 21. Accelerator response had increased 150%. So crisp, and all this on r32 stock actuator boost, ~10-12psi on the 2530. Starting to wonder how people get 190rwkw with stock injectors. The way i worked out the compensation for the injectors was how the pfc manuals says, basically 270/440, then i guess you reduce it abit more, maybe for safety??? Anyways i'm off to the tuner the following week to see how it goes. Once its tuned i'm happy to share any settings to help anyone. Hey cubes, there used to be a website with a huge list of injectors....from OEM to aftermarked that had base pressures and lag times, i cant remember it tho, maybe that could he u. Cheers
  6. Thanks for answering my 10 questions everyone. Cheers
  7. Did you guys just use the double sided tape that came with ur power fc to mount it in its position or did u use something else to secure it against the body??? Cheers
  8. Thanks for the help cubes.....i will give it another go tommorow and let yas know how it goes. Hey sproosy the only reason i need the pfc to goto the tuner is because the car is having 440cc injectors and resistor pack installed. The car will run like a bitch with the stock ECU and the 440's, if it runs at all. Cheers
  9. hey cubes.....i didnt initialize it, as it was brand new out of the box....but i'll hook it up again and see how it goes....all i did was switch the boost option off and start the car from there..... when u intialize do u switch the car off then back on???
  10. thanks targa for the info.....so at base pressure if i put the injecotors in and use 61% injector compensation on all six injectors and change the lag to -0.15 , it should be ok to crank over and idel half decent?? So is it fair to say, that the rb20 270 cc injectors have a lag of 0.922ms campared to the gtr 440 injectors which have 0.772ms at base pressure??? Also i put my pfc in last night with the stock injectors, its starts but idle is rough as guts. I did the recommended things from the manual....let it idle with no electrical load......then with the demister on.....then with a/c.......but it was still rough as. Anyone got some tips?? also it had a huge flat spot at 2000rpm. I wanna be able to drive it from home to the tuner. i just wanna have everything ready for the tuner so all he has to do it tune it when i get the car there. Cheers
  11. Hey Everyone, I need to find out the lag time forthe standard injectors on the rb20det, i need it to change the injector compensation on the pfc. the gtr injectors are 444cc and .773ms.......i just need the stock specs now. Thanks George
  12. $900 - pfc, cam gears, boost controller on an rb20......only tune
  13. I took em to grey imports. They charge 10 bucks an injector to flow and check em.....i think its 25 to flow and clean them. I also had them checked at another workshop at five dock before i went to grey imports. I went to grey imports to make sure it was stuffed. Nathan was a really good bloke. They put it in the machine, flow them, take the reading of how much was flowed.....not too much, tell ya which one is faulty Cheers George
  14. Hi, If got 5 x Denso 720 (Part No. 195500-0830) in good working order but the sixth one is faulty. Stays constantly open, flows the maximum at all times. I took these to Nathan @ Grey Imports in Annadale to check all six out. The five flow perfect but the sixth is definatly stuffed. I've since spoken to hi octane and power play who have confirmed that these injectors are the same as the TRUST or SARD 700cc injectors. The price for the TRUST injector from Powerplay (Speak to TOSH) is $248 per injector. These injectors brand new cost $1400+. Tosh can get single injectors if wanted. I bought these from a forum member named mist (Kenji). These had travelled 5000kms in his rb20det ,he wasnt aware that there was a faulty injector tho. I paid $700 for these plus costs to have them check and flowed. I'm after $400 for all six. I'm happy to take them to a mechanic to have them checked at the buyers expense. Its a good price for such hi flow injectors.....it will cost ya $400 + $248 I've attached some photos of the injectors aswell. The one on the right next to the phone is faulty one. It has been marked by nathan @grey imports. PM me for more details or call me on 0404 106 593 Price DrOP
  15. Thanks for the help guys. i'm not interested in top end much, i want the most responsive internal stock rb20. that was the exact same request i made to jim at CRD. I'll keep ya posted how it goes. Also i did a compression test today, i had driven the car but it then started raining really hard and had to stop for an hour or so and the car cooled down. The results i got were 130psi on 5 cylinders and 128psi on the 6th. Are these results good, bad, ungly????? or because it was cooled down these aren't accurate? Cheers George
  16. Cheers thanks for the info troy! will keep an eye on it when its on the dyno
  17. Thanks!! Also guys, should i be changing the ducting from the AFM to the turbo intake, is it true they can be sucked closed?? Thanks Again
  18. Hey Guys, I've been looking around for the answer to my question with no luck, so make someone can help me. I have an rb20det with 2530 turbs, gtr pump, adj cam gears, pfc, uprated injectors, exhaust and fmic, i'm just about to have the pfc tuned, but i'm not sure if i should change the AFM to a Z32? When does the stock one reach it limits??? Should i not bother with the z32?? I would say the car would be putting out 190rwkw once tuned. Thanks in advance George
  19. hehe i spoke to you about some 720 injectors the other day....thanks for the help, just waiting on someone to get back to me about them.
  20. for what car? and wheres the photo?
  21. Hey Tosh , do you work at powerplay?
  22. I used Steve Jarvin @ haberfield and the nissan dealer at Artarmon/chatswood. They've always helped me out without VIN.
  23. I had 4 missing(snapped) on my r32 gtst........then broke one more trying to take the manifold off. Apparently u can buy a kit that has the bolt nuts and washers for all 12 of them. I'm not sure about that, a mechanic told me that. But i went to nissan and bought 5 new sets and then got myself some eas- outs and got working.
