  3. will putting power restrictions on p platers help keep young drivers safer - yes! will training help young drivers - yes will retesting drivers help - yes will non p platers still hurt themselve in hi powered cars - yes will young drivers who have 4 cylinder bombs still speed (i did) - yes Basically, the idiots are gonna be idiots no matter what. Almost everyone here has probably done something silly like giving it too much gas out of a corner....or something else over the years of driving, maybe on p plate or maybe just yesterday. We gotta remember we are not bullet proof, take it easy and safe it for the race track. There is no one solution. Its a mix of different ideas that will help minimise the idiots that get behind a wheel. my 2 cents

  5. keep away from xspower or anything that has xs in it. close friend bought a so called xs t28 for a sr20 turned out to be a t25hybrid shit hole. usually find these xs thingis on ebay.
  6. i recommend the ARC fmic. I've got that, comes with most piping (black) and what ever it doesnt come with, it uses the stock pipes. I only had to trim 10 x 2 cm off a fin on the front bar, which i thought was fantastic. Cost me ~$1100. m

  8. if u wanted response would maybe a 2530 (~220kw) or 2535 (~250kw) be the go??? maybe alittle less puff up top but would be getting good boost down low??
  9. Aybee, GOt mine on friday, waited 3-4 weeks due to a hold up with my intercooler that i ordered aswell. Cost me 1250. So for all out there wondering, there u go. George
  10. Nengun is good for me. As for customs, if you get pulled up by them. Be creative. If you order a pfc and they pull you up, u dont not pay duty on this. They can consider it as an automatic controlling apparatus or something. If you get a intercooler they will try to slap duty on it. What i did was claim it as a truck air charge cooler and only paid 5% duty compared to 15%. Also make sure u have an invoice of <$1000 so u dont pay the stupid $48 manual entry fee.

  12. No leaks dude. If it makes any difference, i was using 5w-40 oil and the turbo seals had no problems with that.

  14. Hey i'm selling my turbo from my r32 due to an upgrade. The turbo was running fine and had no problem when removed. I was just hunting more power. It has never been boosted by me, the car was bought standard and remained standard for the past two years. It had done 96000kms. Its in really good nick and my mechanic has said the same thing. anyone is welcome to come and check it out or speak to my mechanic. It has very minor shaft play. Basically the turbo i installed had more shaft play than this. Scary but true. PM me for more detail $250 Thanks George

  16. Joel, what mod were u running on your rb20? i'd say with ~200rwkw on an rb20 u should be able to do 13.5 with stock suspension (softer is usually better) or am i dreaming?

  18. Hey Everyone, I have a PFC for my r32 rb20det, but i'm wanting to know if i can just use another hand controller from any car, or does it need to be a specific model? Anyone had experience with this?? Cheers
  19. Brent has been pretty good for me....ordered 3 seperate times. At time little slow but parts seem to arrive no problem. I'm currently tracking my 3rd order from jp. But i usually find to contact him is better via his website instead of emailing him.
  20. what about running it from the hose that goes from the turbo to the actuator?? usually that give you a better reading of what the turbo is producing before any pressure drops down the line. just an idea
  21. had this happen to a sr20 when we tried to run larger injectors on the stock ecu (sard 650's). Make sure they are stock injectors, which should have red tips on them (270cc high impedance). Running injectors with incorrect impedance might cause this too. But they are definately stuck wide open.
