    Hey I finally fixed it!!! Got rid of it and it almost sounds like the stock pump, very faint sound now. It took me 3 goes to get it in the right position, plus i also put a rubber in between the side of the pump and the bracket. Its finally sounding good. (thats a r33 gtr pump)

    i've used em twice and had no dramas with them, but predator is right about the delays which are not in nenguns hands directly.

    Hey Jimbo, did you sort this problem out??? I put a gtr pump in my r32 gts-t, it seems to make the same noise as your saying on prime, but when it idles it pretty quiet, but if i just tap the accelerator it makes the loud noise again, it that happenig with you too?? I dunno if that makes sense

    I got the same thing, till it heads up then is normal spoolin noise. But i got 2 bolts that hold the the exhaust manifold to the head missing (dunno how) but she still spool up. my 2c

    I got a question along the same lines and didnt wanna start a new thread. Basically, i got a r32 with stock pump about to die, so bought a gtr pump, do i now need to change the regulator? I was under the impression that i needed to, but others are tellin me its not needed. Would like to know what all you guys think??? Cheers!!

    From what i've heard and seen HKS 2510 - spools faster,less top end HKS 2530 - spools pretty damn good and good top end (allrounder) HKS 2540 - spools later on 4500+rpm and great top end and works well with cams (good for track use) this is all on a rb20det and all relative to each other, i'm sure u could find a greddy and apexi aswell feel free to correct me

    No offence, learn how to drive first in a shit box, then buy yourself a nice performance car. Atleast u get the feels and handeling of shit box without too much power then move up, your just gonna hurt yourself if you have a heavy right foot.
