dont know about the best one, but get the one with the remote filter, makes life so much easier
got mine from nengun, (exchange rate is decent at the moment.)
manwhore.
try this, disconnect the hose that goes to the bov....the one that comes from the plenum.
take it for a drive and u should have that flutter.....then plug the hose back in and see if the noise changes....if it doesnt i'd be guessing that the bov isnt working.
thats my theory for the day....
Hey Guys
My steering rack is leakin all over the place, so the plan is that i take it out and get it reconditioned or replaced.
Can anyone recommend a workshop? (sydney)
How hard is it to take the rack out?? 2-3 hour job?
Cheers
George
i've had one of these arc coolers in my r32 gtst in the past.....it made 205rwkw on the dyno after 5 back to back runs...these are very efficient coolers.
i got one of those organic heavy duty excedy clutches.....had it for 2 years
done about 14 passes at the drags in one day
drive it everyday
holding approx ~200rwkw (r32 gtst)
and the best part of all ...it chirps 2nds and 3rd......woooooohoooo
took me approx 2.5 hours in total.....i had a bitch of time getting the front one on due to the bush thingi fitting into the D clip. rear was fairly easy.
rattle gun helps too.
have some faith troy.....my car is in the shed with its cams out, ready for the new ones (256/8.5)....just waitin on the water pump, belts, tensioners
should be fairly soonish
Hey everyone,
i've finally decided to install the cams which i've had sitting on the shelf for the past year.
Do i need to check/change the shims when i do the change over??
Also any other pointers i should knowabout? i'll be using the workshop manual for torque setting and the clamp down sequence
I've changed cams on other cars but never a nissan...so any heads up would awesome.
Thanks
George
