I'll see what I've got but I can certainly pick some up. Do we need more rags and things for engine bays? What's the best thing to use on all that manky dirty shit?
If you need me to bring anything else let me know
I'm thinking of just doing exterior and engine bay. I'm 90% sure it will be ready, I've been told I should get it back tomorrow it's on the dyno as we speak.
Sin it's time to start putting that big build to work! No more 'little turbos'
Did you guys actually plan anything for the cleanage of the cars?
I might be up for something provided I actually get my car back in time.
Would also appreciate any tips on good products for cleaning the engine bay. Not sure if I'm that motivated but just in case
+1 for Pro Engines.
I think you'll find that ESP and Autotech (def Autotech anyway) will use Pro Engines for the head work and any mods there anyways.
In terms of tune just talk to the workshops and pick somewhere that you're comfortable with. There's good and bad stories everywhere.
As in flashing lights behind you or at the RBT stops?
Pete gets pulled over in the Audi way more for those. I tell him it's because he looks sus! One time the chick cop went to check the rego sticker and as she put her hand down on the windscreen the automatic wiper went off and scared the shit out of her. Was pretty funny and she saw the funny side of it too which is always helpful!
Funny that you get pulled over so often. Not once did I ever get pulled over in the dirty days when I had an R33 even when it had a big P plate on the back of it.
I was talking about this with a police officer friend of mine and he basically said the main reason that chicks don't get hassled is because they don't really fit the demographic that they are looking for.
It's booked in with ESP I'd say it's unlikely to change.
Originally SAU was going to have a different day but since we're merging with the Supra dudes it's changed to the day that they had booked in.
Turbos are now out of the car and confirmed to be in fabulous condition!
I'll have pics up of them in the next day or two otherwise someone is welcome to come and inspect them.
