Think the R34 ones are slightly redder and darker. There are a few differences but they're only subtle.

Was about $80 for a genuine R34 badge. Figured I may as well get the one to match the one I bought for the front Fake badges look shit.

I have a coilpack cover for an RB26 (from an R32 GTR) up for sale. It's pretty dirty but could be cleaned up nicely. Selling because my car came without one and upon my search for one somehow ended up with two! $150 ono, would like to get back what I paid for it PM me or email [email protected]

I'm getting the covers all painted up too... Curious to know, who leaves their coilpack covers on and who takes them off? Advice as to what's best to do either way?

Well just lucky that today I do have an update to keep the crowd happy! Machining is underway and should be getting put together soon. Picked up the rest of the engine covers to go to the spray painter. Here are some photeys of my visit out to have a look at it all today!

Thanks Gus, I'll have a chat to Danny. I'm pretty much decided I'll just replace the GTR badge and leave the rest badgeless. A GTR without a badge on it's bum just isn't right!!

Ahh cheers for that I'll have a chat to them. I'm thinking I might leave the Nissan one off and put a new GTR badge on it. Just Jap has what they advertise as being genuine badges on their website - the R32 ones come in different colours on there too. Thinking I'll go a 33 or 34 one to match the one on the grille. Leaving the GT badges off the side now too.

Anyone know of anywhere good locally where I can get a genuine Nissan GTR boot badge and a Nissan badge. My Nissan one is snapped in half and the GTR one can certainly do with refreshing! Car is all straight and waiting to be primed now

It's a bit poo. But lucky I already had all the big parts so no big worries for me. Now it's just the looooong waiting game

I got told to avoid an emissions test like the plague cause they are really difficult to pass and that there are a lot of new cars that wouldn't even pass?? I do want to get mine all engineered and above board to avoid issues.

That's very poo. When my ceramic exhaust wheel shattered it was nice enough to fall into the cat and not disturb anything else. Apparently my engines bottom end is in very good condition and has never been opened up before and there was no damage to any parts or anything. But you never can tell these things without getting a good look! I guess it all depends on how much money you have to play around with. I looked at the RB26/30 route and when I started to add it up it seemed to get REALLY expensive. Not that I necessarily went the cheapest way either. Like you when choosing I had the same problem, besides the R35 the only GTR I have ever been in is my own.

Now that would be funny to see!! I don't think there's anyone in ACT that currently does emission testing yet is there? There's been some talk of this on Canberra Cruises and I think a trip to Sydney is required.
