  1. I did wonder but couldn't tell!
  2. I got a good price online from Ozzy tyres for my Michelin Pilot Supersports and so far I think they're a fantastic tyre. A 265/35/18 was around $1600 for 4 including sending to Canberra. Wasn't much difference in their price compared to tire rack after you factor shipping, customs and quarantine fees etc.
  3. Silver R33 GTR in Civic turning off Northbourne just before 5. I was on foot, trying to see if I recognised the owner but couldn't see the driver!
  4. I find myself being both too short and too small for said kimonos! I think Zebra could shave his legs and give it a red hot go?
  5. Bummed to be missing this but didn't want to leave it to the last minute! Have fun peeps and I'll see you at the next big gathering!
  6. Hahaha Pete was in it, I wasn't!! Working from home today.
  7. Hey Terry, please give my spot to someone on the reserves list. Just found out I'm away the whole week before this day for work and would like to spend some time at home by then!
  8. The Light Car Club of Canberra runs khana cross events. Could be a good place to start if you like getting in the mud!
  9. Spotted Jimmy on Gungahlin Drive.
  10. LOL It's not a Torana! Also I know 34s have more room but was showing how the 265 tyre looks on that size rim in case that wasn't clear....
  11. I have TE37s in an 18 x 10.5 +15 and I'm running a 265/35 in a Michelin. From what I'm told, the Michelins are a fairly big tyre so it all depends on what type of tyre you choose as well. On the 32 I can't go any bigger or I'd have scrubbing but it's all sorted out for this combo now. Here's how it looks on the rear.
  12. Seems that It's been a good week for GTR pics Here's a few from the Castrol Edge Motive DVD Challenge out at Cootamundra in May.
  13. I've had good results with Detail FX in Phillip. They do a lot of the award winning summernats cars and dealership cars too.
  14. White 34 GTR on the M4 near Silverwater Rd at around 3:30 yesterday
  15. Dropped off to the workshop (yesterday). New transfer case time!
  16. Thanks guys!
  17. Thanks! Now she's off to the workshop to get fixed then we go out again!
  18. Had nothing but issues on the day but did manage to get some good pics. Here's a few from Sunday. Great pics by Badger Photography and Onlimiter Photography.
  19. There sure was. That's where I met a whole heap of people from SAU NSW for the first time. Was a great day!
  20. Nope. Fuel economy is overrated. Hehe V8 all the way
  21. Ours is not an under $20k version. We did look at the Range Rover sport and were tossing up between both cars but at the end of the day the service at BMW vs the service when we looked at the Rangie (forget the exact dealership name but the one at Woden) made the decision really easy for us. And yeah all depends what your needs are. We just need to tow a trailer which is 500kg and the GTR which is 1554kgs so more than does what we need it for.
  22. I actually find it funny watching people tow their expensive race cars with a 5k shit box and a cheap trailer! I like to do things properly! It's also Pete's daily driver and the car we spend most of our time in.
