  2. Thanks to everyone who came and helped make this an awesome day! Was good to see you all as usual and to meet some new faces
  3. I think they changed the name on Facebook to Nissan vs Toyota but that never made it onto here Regardless, should still be fun!
  4. Ouch, I don't think Thurston's knee was sposed to bend that way!
  5. I do It was going to be the S3 (lol) but the white beast might make it home just in time.
  6. The best kind Richard why aren't you bringing the GTR???
  7. Plenty of room What are you bringing?
  8. Haha we need to get you out to practice that launch mate
  9. That's so cool!!!
  10. Sounds like the one I saw. Do like!! Didn't really warrant a wave while in my crappy daily though!
  11. Spotted a black R35 GTR around Woden this afternoon.
  12. Welcome! Was shocked to hear a few weeks ago that Donnan had sold the car! Very nice GTR
  13. Hahaha this is true. It's usually me that says that. My boy likes cars too but we have really different tastes. He has to go off hunting and camping and shit to scare me away. I like guns too but f**k camping!
  14. LOLs. Now you all say you want ladies in Skylines but trust me it doesn't all work out in your favour when it's your Mrs draining the bank account to modify her car!
  15. But on the flip side, welcome back and congratulations on ditching the Poopra and getting a real car
  16. I've been really lucky with RHD Japan and Nengun. Usually only get stung by customs when bringing things in from the states but I budget for it every time just in case. I had Ryan from ISC Coilovers do a good deal for me on my HKS GT-RS kit about a year or so ago, they're one of the forum sponsors.
  17. Never had a car stolen but had a few cars broken into (the GTR included!) and always made me angry that the police never came and never seemed to care when reported. Dodgy bastards, so shit that you can't even feel safe parking your own car outside. I will NEVER EVER leave the GTR parked anywhere that's not a locked garage due to all these stories! Or if I do they'll have an angry Kat jump out with a crowbar trunk monkey style!
  18. I hate this thread - there's heaps of comments in here on people's thoughts on workshops. Obviously the bad stuff can't be written. I think we should lock it like they do in NSW when people ask these same questions. People need to call around and make up their own minds because all workshops come with good and bad stories.
  19. I wouldn't worry too much about your stuff spesh with an SAU crowd. We've come up on Wednesday nights as a group from the ACT several times and we've left sets of tyres, trolley jacks and all sorts of expensive items out and its never been touched.
  20. Highly recommend CRD. My beasty is there right now
  21. Looking unlikely that the GTR will be here (getting ready to burn the flamin mongrel) but for shits and giggles we'll bring the S3. Haha don't expect anything spectacular but I hope this will be a good "before" and maybe there'll be something to see next year
  22. More fun if 2 certain white 32s had been there. But it's got me pumped too
  23. Spotted my old R33 GTS on Ginninderra Drive about 4:30ish today. Ahhhh the memories!
  24. Haha ok that's probably bad form! Well, I'm thinking bout having the GTR at the drag day on the Saturday so my fall back is the S3 which isn't likely to be too impressive!
