Doesn't bother me there'll be plenty more track days. Mine was on the road most of last year and I've been to the drags 4 or 5 times in the last 6 months and that's been fun and crazily addictive! Should add, the main reason of the offroading was actually gearbox repairs since I busted my second gearbox at WSID in Feb

My car won't be ready (most likely won't even have it back yet at the rate it's taking my gearset to arrive) but I'll try and head up for a look. Would be good to see some ACT guys out there!

Leave it too long and those of us that are aiming to get booted will just get impatient and do it on a Wednesday night August is perfect. Why leave it later in the year as it starts to warm up?

If you want to do food you might have to see what's open in the area. A lot of restaurants will be closed on Friday.

Nice one! I doubt I'm going to bother with the cage and getting it andra spec but I'll cross that bridge once I get there. Once I get kicked out of WSID I'll do the odd trip to Heathcote and then probably find something else such as Wakie to occupy my time Funny you should mention that... I've got an R33 GTR Vspec box in it at the moment and It's not real happy with me after the last trip. It's currently at CRD getting the box rebuilt with an OS Giken 5 speed gearset. I've got to say though, the box that was in it did handle a fair hiding and I was suprised it held up so well!

I have less power (385awkw) but I've done bucketloads of 8.5k launches off my Ogura twin plate and it's never skipped a beat. What tyres are you running?

Awesome work! At least not getting it at the start meant you got to have several runs! Getting kicked out on your first run is still good bragging rights but a bit sucky!

BBQ was epic No DVD will be for sale in newsagents early next month I think. I got in early and bought mine online after seeing a link on FB.

I fully intended to use mine but then I had issues with my wheels fitting over my brakes so I had to get bigger wheels (lol which I have but no tyres yet) and then that plan got a bit f**ked up when I did 2nd gear in at WSID. So it became a no go for me!
