  1. Nathan/Ross do you want to throw this open to the Supra dudes as well? Last year was a really fun day. I can lend someone my special tshirt since I won't be there
  2. Yeah I do too Shell. I just love that colour.
  3. Thanks guys Spewing that I couldn't go for at least a look.
  4. Anyone besides Shell take piccies?
  5. Ahhh counts me out. But I'll be thinking of you as I lay by the pool in sunny Thailand sipping the first of many pina coladas
  6. If we were strapped for numbers I could chuck the S3 on but I wouldn't expect much from the stock engine What date did you have in mind Chris? And surely since it's not a driving event the Supras would come out of the woodwork?
  7. Spotted a silver R34 on Pennant Hills Rd this afternoon bout 2:30ish. Had a SAU sticker on it, didn't wave cause I was stealthed in our Audi
  8. Suspecting my car is going to be offroad at this time for at least a month. If it's not a weekend when I'm on holidays, more than happy to help out though Should see if we can get the Supra guys involved again. Was good last year.
  9. I've had coilovers for 5 years and have never had any dramas with them (no engineers cert either).
  10. I got told when I rang up that it wasn't legal as they don't meet the ADR standards although if I could get an engineer to sign off on it then it "might" be ok. My insurance company also wouldn't guarantee that I would be covered in an accident if someone got injured because of it. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle.
  11. hmmm that white car does look good....
  12. I agree with you 100% Nathan. And yes I'm skeptical about the whole air thing too. But going on that basis, considering I've been doing my racing on the drag strip at Sydney, sounds good to get my tuning done there as that's where I need optimal performance.
  13. There's no point arguing as clearly people have different opinions. If I thought someone local was capable of giving me what I was after do you think I'd still be going to Sydney? Think you'd be surprised at the amount of people that agree with me. I've sent many local Canberra cars in the workshop there, a lot of them aren't even people from this forum. And no I don't think that workshops that build RBs all day every day are reinventing the wheel. Experienced workshops can do this stuff in their sleep. I'd rather a 10% power loss in Canberra (that my dyno sheets don't correlate to btw) than running a tune that's just plain unsafe.
  14. Ouch Best wishes to Paul and his family. Not nice!
  15. Not saying that these guys are bad because I don't know either way but Zebra makes a good point. The reason I don't use local workshops is that I don't like paying someone to reinvent the wheel. Prefer going to Sydney where there are more experienced workshops and tuners. The feeling of confidence and knowledge displayed with issues I have had with my car is really reassuring. As is turning up and seeing a whole workshop full of GTRs as this is their bread and butter. A mechanic with 20 years experience is different to a mechanic with 20 years experience on RBs.
  16. These look awesome
  17. LOL. I'll probs come out for a look but my car won't be there this time. No one else keen? We had a nice big group for this last year!
  18. Nice one matey
  19. Fuel pump sold. Still available: 1. Standard R32 GTR Intercooler - $150 2. HKS Upgraded Actuators. These came off my HKS GTRS turbos I believe that they have an adjustment of boost level 0.8 to 1.1 bar or thereabouts - $250
  20. Fuel pump sold!
  21. I think lack of competition and lack of experience and knowledge really hurts us down here. To me though, a quick trip up to Sydney is nothing given the piece of mind I get knowing my car is in good hands. Just means I have to change my own oil these days and save things up for one big visit usually
  22. Fuel pump sold pending payment.
  23. Fuel pump sold pending payment.
  24. I think the amount of cars that go to Sydney to get the majority of their work done now speaks in volumes. It's a shame but that's how it goes I guess. +1 for CRD they have been nothing but f**king awesome to me in the past 12 months.
  25. Bump, pic of fuel pump added.
