I got a question for you. On my Rb25 I have a Power fc with hand controller, when I first had it installed the hand controller would come up fine showing all the channels and information. now when I turn my car on it just shows the APexi PowerFC logo and just sits there. Likes it frozen .. no scrambling info - just the logo appears and just stays there. Any help ?

Hey all, Im not really mechanicly minded but the other morning I had some weird noises coming from underneath my bonnet. The sound was quite familiar to one i had in my 200 so I took my car down to RIGHT PRICE exhaust and they say its the gasket for the turbo not the exhaust gasket we don't fix these here because it can get very messy and its not there trade. 1. He gave me the number of Tony Mottson at boundard Road, Acicia Ridge. I call the store and they said it will cost me $500 labour to pull the turbo off + parts to replace the broken Gasket 2. APC infrormed me it will be aroun $800 to fix and they will do something can't remember what they said to make sure it doesn't happen again. 3. Stopped by CNJ motor sports on the way home and he basically said they don't do this work. Does this sound about right what they are telling me ? and is there anyone who can recommend anyone else at that will be good in doing this work. 2 optins I was thinking, if they have to strip it back to take the turbo off should I just maybe upgrade my turbo becuase im paying for labour already to take it all apart ? would I still have to fix the gasket if I put a new turbo on, or will the new turbo have one already ? if so what turb would be reasonabile, I will let you know what MODS i current have below. The ONLY other MOD I will be doing to my car is an after market ECU, so far i have exhaust , avcr , pod , FMIC. possibly turbo upgrade depending on thoughts. Car - Skyline R34 GTT any help will be great , seems like I have to pay alot of money for labour for a $35 part to be replaced... BUGGER
