Has it been serviced recently? New air filter and plugs? Dodgy fuel? As far as starting goes, like Steven said they are getting old but there are some things you can do. In addition to Stevens idea of checking the pumps, often checking/replacing engine and component earths helps. There are kits you can buy but to me they seem like dodgy band aid ideas. Find your earths and check their condition and contact with the cars body and parts. Replace with thicker gauge wire if it looks like it will improve things.

The actual computers are on the bookshelf. It is only the monitor, speakers, mouse and keyboard that are on the counter (which is attached to the wall, it isn't a desk) . I was worried I might get the components wet when washing dishes but haven't yet. Like I said I like to be able to watch stuff while in the kitchen. I also like to be able to sit at the work area so then I turn the monitor and speakers around to the counter side. I know I can tidy things up and make it a bit more effecient buy buying a monitor with inbuilt speakers but I want to know if there is any low cost/effort stuff I can do. I am sick of looking at my PC work area as it looks like the aftermath of a terrorist attack on a Dick Smith store. So if anyone could give me any suggestions to tidy it up please do (preferably by spending as little time and money as possible). Cheers in advance. From the top to the bottom: Guitar amp (with PC as my tabs/notation are on my PC and I can play along with youtube etc on the rare occasions I actually practice guitar) Scanner/printer Linux netbook Old Pentium (needed a disk drive for ripping CDs) Windows netbook with External HDD behind it Another external HDD and the power cables etc.

I have never owned a V8 but since you and the driver of the car have decided to turn it into a pissing contest against V8s/bogans here is a V8 skid, I would post more but only allowed to post one at a time.

Well my VL turbo has 360 000 kms on it and still going strong. If Holdens had such terrible reliability why would they be chosen for every other taxi? Compare the reliability of the GTR to the Commodores when they were racing in the early nineties. The current Camaro and a bunch of other American cars are based off the Commodore. Thanks for trying but: Back on topic, I hope they do bring the Datsuns out. Even if they aren't in the developed countries it shouldn't be too long before we can get imports...can't wait for a Datto 1000 wagz return.
