  1. Bargain, less than the price of an R32/33 and so much more car. Would buy it myself but live overseas. Good luck with the sale.
  2. Does it run rough especially at idle? You might have a leak somewhere.
  3. Rode out to Shinbashi and took photos. I love wagons. As nice as it is to see an attractive woman driving a cool car, nothing gives me hope for the future and fills me with a feeling that all is well in the world like an older guy driving a cool car. The fella driving this was probably in his sixties. Pretty rough Galant but would clean up nice. Shinbashi station with an old train parked out the front. After many attempts I think I have finally sorted out how to get home from Yurakucho station, take that Shinbashi and your confusing, labyrinthine maze of side streets and walkways... Nimble and easy to park is exactly what you want in Tokyo, therefore this: Finally, a French car's appearance that doesn't make me want to vomit blood. I love it and with a V6 in a small hatchback you can't go wrong especially as it's RWD. By the way, if you have any suggestions related to improving my (non-existent) photography skills please post them up.
  4. Welcome to the forum and great work on picking up such a nice looking car. Like you already pointed out it should be a great base for a daily that you can still have fun with and having already had a bit of money spent on it should save you a few dollars.
  5. Agreed, the body kit and little touches really set it off.
  6. Hi J.C. and welcome to the forum. You might not get too many replies to your post at the moment as we seem to be getting spammed a lot in the Newbie forum although the rest of the site is relatively OK. Having lived in Japan for a few years now I have to say that the standard of cars on the road is much higher than in Australia, so either you were unlucky to get a dented one or it was done after leaving Japan. As far as posting photos goes I don't think the size matters if you have the photos hosted elsewhere. I use photobucket.com which is a free photo hosting site (there are many others that do as good a job, photobucket is just the one I use). Go to the site and create an account. Then "Upload" your photos. Click a photo and on the right side will be an "IMG" link. Double click on that and then paste (Ctrl V) into the post you are writing on here.
  7. Thanks mate, I am glad you are enjoying it. I plan to keep updating it, although won't be as often for a while as the holidays are almost over.
  8. Welcome Aaron and as James said it is great to see you are putting some research in before purchasing a Skyline. Your previous rides sound cool as well, I love the look of those late 80s CRXs and having a VTEC or turbo engine as you did would really get a light CRX moving.
  9. Always nice to welcome another VL owner (even if it is an ex-VL owner) to the forum. Good luck with the search for a new car and try not to be too disappointed when girls aren't piling up on your fence, scrambling to get in (World War Z style) like they would have done with the VL.
  10. Pretty quiet. New Years here is like our Christmas - more for family than partying or whatnot. However the winter holiday does seem to be when the rich folk bring out their expensive toys. I took these shots today when I rode on my pushy, like a pennyless hippie, out to the Imperial Palace.
  11. Some great looking cars in attendance, glad you enjoyed your trip. Thanks for posting.
  12. New Years at Ikegami Honmonji 5 tier pagoda looking like a Christmas tree with what could be some nice presents underneath... for me??? Sadly, no. Amazake - yum
  13. Welcome and good luck with your forum search. It may take a while but you should find what you are looking for.
  14. Welcome to the forum, glad you love the car. Good luck with it.
  15. Fast2 pic 14 Electric sunroof + 15 inch alluminium road wheels (including key) 15 Rear wiper + Xenon headlamps Fast3 pic 16 (continued) trunklid trim + FR strut tower bar
  16. 14 Super fine coat + 15 inch alluminium road wheels (including key) 15 Rear wiper + UV cut glass (tinted windows) + Xenon headlamps 16 Glovebox light + remote controlled entry + trunklid... (16 continues with the drop down, post the rest if you would like me to translate that too)
  17. I played a volleyball tournament at the Yokohama International Swimming pool yesterday. In winter they cover the pool with a floor and play volleyball, tennis etc on it. As Yokohama is a partner city for the Tokyo olympics there is a possibility that some events will be held there although I have heard that it is likely that the majority of events may be in Odaiba and elsewhere in Tokyo. These are my worst photos yet - I just couldn't get them level, sorry. Diving area is just perfect for a hilarious Youtube video Such a huge space - 4 volleyball courts fit with ease.
  18. Welcome. Do an LS conversion for "unlimited power".
  19. Welcome and good luck with it.
  20. Welcome and good luck with the search for a new car. Make sure you read the appropriate threads (buying guides etc) in the forum before you start inspecting potential cars to improve your chances of getting a good one. Merry Christmas!
  21. Welcome, Glad to be aboard? R33 owner?...I see what you did there Good luck with the build.
  22. Kogarah?? Awesome! I grew up near Rockdale. Welcome to the site, if you have any problems you can't solve through the forums or whatever PM me and I will do what I can.

Gorgeous car mate - that colour with those wheels = epic win. Welcome to the forum and good luck with her.
  24. Not at all, sorry I didn't have a clue how to get to the place. You don't owe me anything it was great to meet you and your mate. Let me know if you are back over here and I will do likewise if in 'straya. I will have to get to that Ramen museum.
  25. No sadly, I don't know anyone who works at Nissan. I did know a few people at Toyota and Mitsubishi but no one at Nissan who could get me in. Thanks, I actually only had one trip to Japan. I just haven't got around to coming back to Australia yet...and may not ever
