HI jo, I just bought a 5lts bottle of CASTROL EDGE 0w-50. That's the best oil you can buy for that price, I got 20% off AUD69 when they got a sale in super cheap auto. If you don't do track a lot or crazy stuff, this oil should be good enough for you, safe fuel and runs smoother. Some of the boys here use more expensive stuff like Motul.

Anyone Help With This Light On The Dash?
FlyingEL replied to heslo's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
So chris, Are you able to help me with the same problem? -
Hi Chris, I manage to took out the bumper today, and manage to get a glim of my HID unit. The wires on both ends are cut, can it still be used?
-
I think i did undo the one at the back of the glove box only. The bigger plug. So, when can you get the scan tool? About the TV recepetion, I manage to get some channel, but it's fuzzy in black and white. How can i get a better picture? Did you see a plug in for mic at the back of the system? It's seems that the other side can't hear me when i call them using the bluetooth function. I did find a mic in the box.

I have just fixed up my 2DIN stereo, thanks Chris for that. But now the airbag light on the front kept flashing, how do I turn it off? Anyone or Chris? I'll post a pic of the job done later.

You should try the new Falken 912, very quite and grippy for the price. If you got money, go for Bridgestone Adrenalin.

Hi Chris, Where are you at?

Hi Chris, I got the car from a guy from gold coast under the company, MAD VEHICLE PTY LTD. I saw the car for sale in the net and he drove it down to brisbane for the viewing. The worst part was, I didn't even test drive the car when I bought it. He said he got no insurance for it yet as the car was not registered yet. I'm thinking of getting my HID done, but I'm a little confuse with my head lights unit. As you can see from the pics, My low beam is on the top (Can't see the bulb type), but my high beam is the bottom lamp on a H4? I thought H4 have high & low built in together? I have also a spot light switch on my steering column which didn't work, maybe i need spot light in the front bar.

Thanks Chris, That looked like a whole afternoon job, Damn. I'll try it this weekend, If fail, I'll contact you again. I'm living near caridale shopping center. I got an extra Immobilizer fitted with the car, It has a button to press after I have turn the ignition on, wait 4sec before I can start up. I'm thinking of getting rid of it, before I even start to get an extra spare key, since i got only 1 key. Maybe add in an extra Alarm/Immobiliser too.

Hi There, Finally i got the car. Full NISMO body kit. Brembo. No Stereo, but have ordered one on the way. Any one can shed some light on how to take apart the double DIN or the center console? After I took out the gear cover, I see 2 screws at the bottom of the 2 DIN. But After they are undone, the whole console just wouldn't bunch. Any idea?

For Sale: Cpv35 Apexi Exhaust
FlyingEL replied to Hill Billy's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
How much to send over to Brisbane? -
For me, If you are on a Budget, get the new Falken 912, good speed rating and wear rating. If you can spent a little more, get Goodyear Revspec.
-
I'm getting my V35 Track spec tomorrow, and I paid Lumley AUD907 and got a quote with just cars for AUD890. I'm 31 and living near brisbane. I got it fianace with St George bank on a secure loan. But St George service is damn lousy. Wasted AUD 80+ just on my mobile just to call them, again & again.

Interested in cooling? AUD 68 Brisbane

Hi, Anyone used these before? It's help to divert air coming to front intake to the radiator. Actually I have one for sale for AUD68, interested? It's made of aluminum, brand new.

FAQ: 1) What make & model will this work on? These are a universal fitment for all petrol cars with fuel injection including turbo & super charged engines. 2) Will it work on a diesel engine? Unfortunately it won't work on a diesel engine sorry. 3) Will it affect my MPG? In tests we have found that it is possible to get up to an extra 60 miles from a full tank of petrol. The tests were based on a standard spec Peugeot 106 1.6 GTI & Honda Civic 1.6 CRX. As an average the mpg is usually better or stays the same. 4) I have an induction kit and/or performance exhaust-will it fit? Yes and it will work well! 5) I have a 'chip' fitted to my car-will it still work? We have been carrying out tests over the recent months and found that the module will work when used together with a 'chip'. 6) If I want to remove it can it easily be removed without trace? Yes. No wires need to be cut for installation and can easily be removed without trace within a couple of minutes. 7) I'm selling my car-can I transfer it over? Yes. The module will fit ANY fuel injected petrol car 8) Are there fitting instructions included? Yes. There are universal fitting instructions included on the reverse of the packaging which apply to all makes & model of cars. The modification is designed to directly compete with the more expensive performance remapping systems, power programmers and upgrade chips, but at a significantly reduced cost. You can expect to pay anything from $500-$900 for a full ECU remap service. This practically does the same thing at a fraction of the cost and for a similar power gain. Our '+15BHP' Power Modules are plugged in between one of your car's sensors and the ECU. This is also known as a 'piggy back' device as it is external to the main processing unit. Fitting instructions are included on the reverse of the card and no special tools are needed for installation you simply plug the module in. Usually takes between 5-10 minutes to install at the most. How does it work? It will modify any standard ECU by telling the ECU that the incoming air in the intake system is cold and so advances the ignition by up to 2 degrees with more fuelling to compensate, therefore producing more power with more torque at lower revs. In many cases fuel economy is increased too. Power is increased by up to 15BHP and torque is increased significantly. It will be more responsive and you WILL LIKE IT. What difference can you expect? Increased acceleration at low end revs Higher top end speed Faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile times Quicker throttle response Smooth out flat-spots Can increase MPG
