have u looked on ur cam to see if the key is still on it ( little peice of metal that links inside cas ) sorry dont know technical name ! but it wont spin it if its snapped off .. had similar problem when it didnt link up and cas wouldnt sit properly in. Really hope this isnt the case otherwise potentially ( could be wrong ) rb20 cas dont work with rb25's ?? good luck

hey mate, same kinda thing i found with my gtr stock everything except for zorst, full boost by 4000rpm atleast, not a reall kick in the back either... untill i boosted her to 15pound, made a world of difference,cam gears are going in atm so hopefully that will help lag. but yeah adjustable actuators on stock turbos not so sure, maybe put factory ones on and save ur self time mucking round. ball bearing turbos help too....

maybe he didn't connect ur oxy sensor plug back on?? or dropped it?? ecu reset even??

just dont blame us if u get caught for neg driving r31s with lock diffs and too much rwkiller-wasps are too much fun my r31 lost me my license, best 3rd gear drift i ever did in that car

buy mine, its been sitting in my garage 4 almost a yr since i got a gtr 4g's will get u a rb20ed r31 witha vlt gbox, button clutch, locked diff, and RACING SEATS !!!

mark_mcq i have the same problem with my rb20'd r31 , still havn't found out what it is but its not my daily driver so not to worried, to the best of my thinking its problably my jammed blow-off making it flutter because my mates 180 does something similar with his blocked blow-off. maybe rb20's are more prone to this because their slightly lower compression, or my ecu not being happy with VLT FLutter noises??? try running just 1 blow-off ??

GO the rb25 turbo , i boosted my vg30 too 16.5 pound daily and couldn't kill it, mind u all that rb20 in my r31 was good for was drifting and thrashing, made fun power and bigwank noises but, no good for daily driving. +1 - cheap mod i got my turbo 4 $300 from sss automotive, rb25 turbo should tire u over till u can grab an rb25 witha decent snail

HI all , im kinda new to this online skyline stuff but hopefully some1 can help ive got an rb20'd r31 skyline and am finding after putting a bigger fuel pump (out of my working gtr) in, it wont start easy untill ive cranked it for atleast a good 5 mins, with the timming a bit retarded to help. once it starts it coughs and splutters (missfires and pops) untill 3000rpm onwards where it revs normal and makes that tough rb20 scream . Also when i actually drive it on the road not just nutral revs, it pulls hard past 3000rpm but same-same below that. somthing i noticed though was a leak out the feed side of the fuel line just near the top of the fuel tank when at idle but not so much when it revs higher. leaks out onto the floor off the fuel tank im thinking its that fuel line not holding presure or giving it too much presure??, can anyone think of a possible cause??
