  1. pr00000nz!
  2. is it worth dropping 30k on an engine for it to get some numbers on a screen? i mean the only people that respect dyno queens power outputs are other dyno queen owners, or 12yr old boys? **yes yes, i know horses for courses but im just tryna get my head around it *** why not just spend that money on some crazy wide body kit, massive dish wheels and more vynil?? or do you really just want a autosalon dyno trophy?
  3. my BNR32 GTR is up for sale, my tickets are now booked for overseas so i would rather the money to spend over there than have the nissan take up room in the shed for many months. great clean example, the pics i posted on carsales dont do it justice ive gotta get out with a propper camera and get some decent ones! http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...TR&trecs=19 price is 19,500 ONO, im a reasonable man but in no rush to sell it.....
  4. ahhh right clubby stuff, for some reason i had big speed boats stuck in my head haha. normally its pretty straight forward, deffinatly not 10ft round here!haha
  5. u after surf for surfing, or just what the water conditions are generally like around port norlunga? im not sure so i will give a quick answer for both lol surfing wise, you want get a decent wave there unless its 40 knot onshore. so go 2 minutes either way, one side has christies which has some great heavy beach breaks, gets real packed tho. other side has southport, another beack break and if you keep wandering down the cost you will get about 15 other reef breaks, generally always smallish, but on stormies gets prob the best wave on the coast down at seaford. boat wise, this time of year ur lucky if its not several meters out there. always bumpy and cold. port norlunga has a massive reef running in line with the beach about 400 meters out. water depth is a sheer drop off after that, plenty of seals, sharks and the like. where is this contest? i havent seen any flyers or anything for it wouldnt mind checkin it out!
  6. sorry if you have covered it before, but what has the insurer had to say about all this?
  7. ive contemplated it, have they named the location yet??
  8. yes im curious, why not used a tried and true motor instead of smaller displacement and less turbo's?
  9. ignorance is bliss aye old chap? you contradicted yourself, by making an error in judgement he was showing a lack of due care.... now as ive said before the wrx drivers where complete and utter twats for risking the life of themselves, there passengers, other road users and any possible pedestrians. like you said yourself, this guy probly was having a chat to his passenger, late at night, almost home (there is a figure stating sumthing along the lines that most major road accidents happen within 15kms of there residence) so just looked up quickly saw lights down the road and went. so there for not propperly annalysing on coming traffic. *** just as some people tend not to read things clearly on here let it be known im not making excuses for the wrx drivers, they need to have the book thrown at em. but merely pointing out the other possible side to a sad story
  10. i was looking at buying a wrx aswell, seems there gonna have more heat on em than nissans
  11. if you are just looking if there is cars then you are a danger to yourself and a danger to other road users. you shouldnt be making outlandish assumptions in life or death sittuations like that
  12. no youve missed my point. they guy in the toyota pulling across a 2 lane road infront of traffic shows lack of due care for other road users and his own safety. you could say that if the wrx's were not speeding it wouldnt have happened but then again you dont know, this guy could have still pulled out infront of the next car.....
  13. dont get me wrong i think the wrx drivers are complete and utter dicks, but it isnt rocket science to judge how a car is moving at night. the loud revs, hektic blow of valves and the sheer distance those cars travel under quick exceleration is a dead give away.....
  14. how come no one has pointed out the fact that the bloke in the toyota drove infront of them....... in all honesty there are 3 drivers showing lack of due care.......
  15. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...Oz-t269709.html post #9 is now my sole provider of lulz at 11:55 tonight
  16. ACA would never lie or exagerate a story
  17. wats with the 4x4 spec ride height? lol
  18. body kit colour not matching the body of the car adds to the indiscrete motion
  19. there was some epic lulz to be had in that short battle though, if only they had let it go on longer
  20. wooowwwwww relax princess, i was just offering you information i had heard..... no need to get heated. i was just after a definitive ruling on it as ive only ever heard from others and this officer about the front on issue. faaarkin internetz iz seriusss business
  21. i wouldnt be so confident, regency arent gonna call you on sumthing like that, its a cop and cop only related issue. from the 1 officer i have spoken to about it the front licence plate must be straight in line with the front of the car and above 300mm high. i just went with a slim line cc plate on a bracket in the place provided so there isnt an ounce of IC coverd up. edit** this would be the perfect thing for old mate neil to clear up..... anyways im gonna go check this ns v sau thread for some lulz
  22. im pretty sure your plate is illegal dohmar, the plate has to face directly straight, what side it is on doesnt matter. for example the evo9 has it on the left hand side, but comes with a standard plastic backing plate that holds it above legal height and directly straight across the front of the car
