mod plates would basically put a end to the harrasment certain officers of the law provide, they cant defect you for something that you have on the mod plate, but they still can with a $2000 dollar engineer certificate.

guys remember we are not even a club, we are all members on a internet forum that none of us own or created. have you even contacted the owner of the site regarding this? if you are serious about getting this looked at then forget neil, he is nothing but a pissed off old man. put in the hard yards and create a club, talk with the owner of the site and a local MP and try lobby for mod plate systems to be used in this state like they are interstate and to great success. maybe even speak to the sporting car club and get them on board, they have alot of power within the motorsport scene in this state dealing with one traffic cop is, i hate to say it essentially pissing in the wind

i wish the partakers all the best in the meeting and wish something positive would come out of it but this issue is well above niels head, even above his superiors. the effort would be best put to use speaking to a local MP and getting them on your side and taking it to mal hyde/other senators/mike rann

its a 50/50 chance, i have heard from a friend and member on here that he had an officer harrasing him unfairly for a few months, he made a formal complaint and the officer has not spoken to him since. but i completely understand where you are coming from, some stations may just throw it in the bin.

beleive it or not but complaints do actually get dealt with, within the police, so it is worth the 20 minutes of your time to make the formal complaint. its a little bit of paper, no lawyers, no court fee's just a simple a4 bit of paper that carry's alot of weight within the force

are you that dumb? or just arrogant? he is not following the correct methods of defecting, whatever happened to police actualy measuring things and testing sound level??? you are more than within your rights to make a complaint if the officer in question isnt following guidelines and you felt you have been unfairly dealt with..... for example "illegal air filter" that is BS, so make a complaint about it, its police harrasment. so if your done carrying on like a 12 yr old can we get back to the topic?

hmmm, the reason i ask is the whole "defect" thing, and i could get my car thru regency with steel wheeled/hi flowed and not worry about having to take em off, put stock on, then do it all again once i pass as im under the impression regency only check the numbers on the side of the turbo?
