i think the level of "bias" at magistrate level is ALOT less than your average coppa

the magistrate can only do what the laws allow them, the legal process is a bitch and you cant make decisions based on gut feelings, you have to follow the letter of the law and if the accuses has a good lawyer then there is only so much you can do in certain sittuations..... where as a cop follows there gut feelings, they see a skyline and there gut feeling is that they can defect it easily and you have no legal representation to defend yourself as the laws have been molested to the point where a cop can defect a brand new car

i think the magistrate are very fair and reasnoble , its the laws behind them that need to be changed im gonna stick by street justice cause i know the police wont do anything..........even if they manage to catch the people its a slap on the wrist. so id rather slap em around a lil and send them on there way

wonder if anyone has blamed there crash on a flashing speed camera?? its more than possible

^ive seen that on west lakes BLv, camera was non stop flashing for about a minute, i slowed right down to like 5kmph and almost caused an accident cause i was scared to go thru it lol

if they cant get you in regard to center hub to eyebrow, then they will go and look for a part of your car lower than 100mm, if they cant fit a coke can standing up under the lowest part of the car....defect

yeh they never mentioned it to me either but when i gave the papers a good looking over it says it in like size 10 font in the corner sumwhere, so i got one the next day lol

lol sorry damo, go check the small print cause it will say you need an aus standard imobilizer, yes you can commence the insurance (i did that then read the small print) but if it gets nicked and they find the car with no immibilizer then you failzz......dont beleive me call them tomorra

^i know for a fact full comp with just cars requires that u must have a aus standard imobiliser or else claim = failz

lol different car, that car is sold over in victoria now current car is kept in a locked garage, and fitted with a number of other security measures, including immobiliser/alarm

yeh i ran off pages of mods, non of them an alarm and they still did me a good deal anyways i really feel for the thread starter, i dont know what id do if this happened to my car
