If you have 4 k to spend you should look at getting your rims via Jesse Streeter. I got him to order some Work xsa for me, they custom make them to order at the sizes you want. Mine in 18" cost under $2200 delivered and they are a 2 piece wheel. Then just over 1k for a set of kumho ku31's. O ly problem is waiting near 12 weeks for the wheels but worth it IMO.

What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
slippylotion replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
It fit up easily and only had to reshape the heat shield around the tail shaft a little by hand. No knocks or noises. Exhaust note is a little nicer now as I can actually hear a nice little burble but still very quiet when on cruise. Power wise I have noticed a slight increase but not huge, as to be expected. Still need to change the front pipe to a 3" with high flow cat. I was able to sell the rear muffler from the v35 for $25 so that's dropped the cost of the mid pipe to only $75! So good cheap upgrade. Oh and the m35 mid pipe is bloody heavy compared to the v35. -

Not very bad at the moment. Only seen a few drips on the engine but nothing drips onto the ground. I think Ill change it next week just to be safe. Any chance you have the part number handy? Cheers -

While fitting the V35 mid pipe today I discovered the typical M35 cam cover leak. Must have just started as wasn't there last month. -
V35 coupe skyline factory exhaust sections for sale. Have left over the Y pipe, both cats, exhaust manifolds and heat shields. Looking for only $25 a section. Cheers.

Hey I have a V35 Coupe standard exhaust for sale. I have the complete system from the exhaust manifolds back to the rear muffler except the mid pipe. The mid pipe is being used on my M35 Stagea. If anyone needs a section you can have each section for $25 pick up in Adelaide. Only available for a couple days, after that its going to the metal recycling yard. PM me if your interested. Cheers

Just bought a complete V35 coupe exhaust from headers to tips for the mid pipe. Had to buy the whole lot as he wouldn't separate but only cost $100. From fist look the V35 pipe is about 3mm smaller in diameter from my measurements, will confirm tomorrow. Also keen to see if the much smaller muffler will improve power/torque at all. -
Is that power rwkw or awkw? Either way I'd be happy as a pig in you know what. Good job.

I've just heard that if your running high boost with these turbos you need to upgrade the h/duty thrust bearing to a better quality one. apparently the evo guys are doing this if running over 18psi. It already comes with a hd thrust washer but they say the quality isn't that great for higher boost levels. Any thoughts or experience on this guys? Since I haven't fitted it yet I can upgrade it if need be.

Just get them from Nissan. A lot easier as they are a specific size that you won't find at a parts store. -
Yeah I understand the extra displacement and 2 extra injectors allowing for more power on a same sized injector. More so questioning the theory of 1cc = 1hp.
-
That can't be correct. I run 740cc in my SR with stock rail pressure and currently make 270rwkw with 85% duty cycle on E10 100 oct.Or are the extra 2 cyls and .5 ltr making that much of a difference?

Here you go, my TD06SL2-20G T3 8cm rear housing.

I've got one here waiting to go on. I'll get it from the shed tomorrow and bang up a pic. But from memory it looks like my 8cm T3.

I currently have it apart fitting up a Kinugawa TD06SL2-20G 8cm T3 flanged external gate turbo to it and hopefully a set of ID1000 injectors to replace the current 740's. Just waiting for a mate to make the high mount manifold and for me to decide on either the 38mm or 44mm Tial waste gate. Looking to get 300rwkw on pump. Once its done I want to do some hill climbs and a few grip days. -

How did you find the grip out there? In my 180SX I found it really slippery! I came out of turn 3 and easily wound it off the clock before turn 4 and turning into turn 4 the car just started sliding towards the outside of the corner and got scary real quick. Turn 4 is actually a difficult corner with the amount of speed that can easily be carried into it. -
Recommendation On Tyres For My M35 Axis

Wish we did as I want the trolley jack they sell. -
Here is the write up I did when I installed mine. I'm still going to add an on/off switch to power it when not in reverse. I'll use a diode on the reverse lights power feed so when I activate the on/off switch it won't turn the reverse lights on. I can't see myself using the camera when not reversing very often but atleast I'll have the option. http://www.m35stagea.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=281&p=2419#p2419

Pretty sure they are 180 or 150. I'm leaning towards 180 from memory. But looking on the kumho site they don't come in a 245/45-18 as not really a performance car sizing, only a 245/40-18. -

I don't think I'd use the KU36 on the street with a heavy car like the m35. The tread ware rating is pretty low so you won't get long out of them. Although the grip would be NICE!
