  1. Cheers Brad, Ill have a crack tomorrow and hope for the best. I mounted the camera this arvo, came out really good. Yeah I was going to grab that +12v reverse light wire from where it comes back into the cabin under the head lining.
  2. Hey Brad Yeah I can see now that wireless would have better, just didn't know its all sealed up I pulled all the trims off and can get to the wiring loom grommets going into the top of the hatch. I just can't work out how to chase the wires down that wiring grommet into the frame and down behind the number plate. I just need to feed 1 x video RCA
  3. Does anyone know how to get wiring in/out of the tailgate? Its a sealed unit by the looks and can't see how to runs a cable through it into the cabin.
  4. But will that force the screen to show that input when I select reverse and not have to flick another switch to then revert back to previous input? Even if Im listening to a cd will it automatically switch and show up on the screen then revert back to cd without me selecting anything?
  5. Sweet, thanks. Hopefully make lack of wiring skills gets it right. Cheers ?
  6. Hi guys This weekend I want to install my reverse camera to the M35. Im going to connect it into the av input on the Commsman tv tuner but wanted to know the best way to switch to the av input when I select reverse. I read somewhere about the C1 terminal inside the jdm tuner but not sure how it needs to be wired and exactly how it works. I want the reverse camera to automatically be viewed on the factory screen when ever reverse is selected and then back to what the last input was. Is this possible and if so how do I need to wire it all up? Thanks guys
  7. Just ordered one of these. http://usaspec.com/product.php?ProductID=30&forceShowProduct=1
  8. It's the factory grill that the Japanese owner modified by chopping out the Nissan logo and reshapping it. I'm still not 100% if I like it.

  10. Well this is how it sits now, 350mm heights front and rear. Sorry its dirty and needs a wash.
  11. They would be nice but the only other plans I have for suspension is alignment bushes.
  12. I keep mine in C position so its out of the way.
  13. If all goes to plan I could give you guys a hand to fit it. Im very confident It will go smoothly. Just waiting for my mate to confirm that I can use his hoist friday arvo / saturday.
  14. Yeah definitely none till all is good.
  15. Yeah doing it at a mates workshop. Spoke to Craig about it so all should be good. Just need to take our time and concentrate.
  16. Happy to say finally the car sits level and the creak has now gone. I adjusted the passenger side 10mm lower but it still sat higher. I also could not pin point that creak but my suspicions where toward the upper control arm and the sway bar. So today when I got home I jacked her up yet again ? and it was creaking away if I lifted the hub assm up and down. I then disconnected the sway bar link to check it all out, all looked good so I put it back in. Then took it for a test drive and the creak had gone ? then when I got home the car was sitting level. I don't know how to explain it but both problems have now been sorted by removing that link and refitting it. Not sure if some how it was causing the problem 100% but it seems to have solved it and that's all I care about. So now onto to fitting the trams shift kit this Friday/Saturday.
  17. So yours does the same! At least I not going mad thinking its just my car. I've almost given up trying to sort it out. I think the creaking noise I'm getting is from the rear swaybar D mounts. Will pull them out tomorrow and re grease them. What heights did you run with?
  18. Hi guys I'm having a bit of trouble with the rear coilovers in my M35. I have Tanabe sustec coilovers and can't seem to get the rear level. The rear passenger side always sits 7-8mm higher than the drivers side. Here's what I have tried to fix it. Both sides set the same height. = out of level Drivers rear set higher = out of level Swapped spring assembly side to side = out of level Passenger set lower = out of level Loosened all arm joints to rest bush tension =out of level No matter what I do the passenger always sits 7-8mm higher and its p*ssing me off as I can't work out why. So, anyone have any ideas what it could be and if you have had this problem or had to adjust one side different to the other to get them level? And it's creaking badly on that side and again can't seem to stop it. Thanks guys.
  19. Have you got a part listing for the bushes for camber? As yet I can't find them.
  20. Mines already at -2deg in the rear. I thought this was too much for tyre wear. Anyone know the factory alignment specs?
  21. I went with 350mm front and rear. Ill try get a pic tomorrow for you. Now I just need to fit the front upper control arm offset bushes and see how much adjustment is still in the rear camber arms, if not enough ill look for offset bushes or a complete adjustable arm. Everything I find so far is for G35 but the arms are different as ours have the shocker mounting to it, the G35 doesn't from what I can see.
  22. Lowered the M35 a tad more this arvo, Im now happy with how it sits. Anyone know of any rear adjustable camber arms or offset bushes if the stock adjustment can't do enough?
  23. Check sgic for insurance. Mines with them and the cheapest I could find at the highest agreed cover.
