Just normal driving, nothing special. Im not up it every time I take off from the lights but I still pull away from most other cars. I did drive it like a granny for nearly a week and got high 10's but very boring to drive like that.

So you used a boost controller to up the boost more than what the exhaust/dump gave? Are the turbo's that are dying from the exhaust wheel coming off or the core dying due to seals or bearing failure?

3psi, thats more than I expected. Do you have an a/market gauge fitted? The oil feed won't make a difference to the extra boost, its the extra shaft speed and heat that the ceramic turbine wheel will see that will cause it to go. I know that the ceramic turbine wheel on the RB series don't like any more boost than 12-13psi, after this the shaft speed and heat cause the wheel to break or shatter.

Finally got the dump pipe fitted up today after having Captain Thread fix 2 busted studs yesterday. Big difference in performance from the stock dump. I also noticed an increase in boost, not sure how much as it now seems the factory boost gauge is maxing out. Does anyone know how much boost increase they got from the dump and if the stock turbo can handle running a couple extra psi without destroying itself? Im just a little worried that by fitting the dump to try and extend the life of the turbo, the extra boost with destroy it sooner than before. Also anyone know where I can get a flange gasket to suit the stage flange? It appears to not be a 3" flange gasket.

I decided I would try to make this as I started to fit up the dump pipe friday arvo but then 2 studs snapped so the car is stuck on the hoist at a mates workshop until monday when captain thread removes them.

Started changing the dump pipe on the M35 this arvo, bloody hard to get into the top studs. 2 bloody studs snapped Rang Nissan and NO studs in the country, ex japan for bout $125 for set of 5 studs with nuts. I was hoping the rb25 studs would be the same but they said they are a different part number. Does anyone know if a stud is available from anywhere else? Im getting Captain Thread to go to my mates workshop, where the car is stuck on the hoist for the weekend, to remove the busted studs monday arvo.

Im unfortunately going to miss this cruise as Im fitting the dump pipe and fixing a busted rear wheel stud. Have a good one guys, hope to make the next one.

Jase, not that it helps now but to remove the double sided tape use a caramel wheel. My mate debaged mine and used this to easily remove the tape and gave the car a cut and polish. Can't tell there was ever a badge there.

Drags start back in Adelaide this november. Only 1/8 mile until the rest of the track has finished being upgraded. It's a positive start though.
