  1. Thanks guys. I remember the gtt also uses the 14mm bolt so all should be good.
  2. Cool. So the r34 gtt caliper uses a larger mounting bolt than r33. I'm assuming the M35 also uses the larger mounting bolt or am I wrong? If this is correct I shoulnt need the bolt sleeves.
  3. Hey Thinking about up grading the front brakes on our M35(when it arrives) to R34 GTT. I looked in the brake thread but it's all over the place. So can anyone confirm if the GTT discs and calipers will bolt straight on? I understand the brake line might need some work but that's easy to take care of. Cheers guys.
  4. That's a good price then. I thought you might have got them ex Japan. Freight for a set of 19" wheels is over 1k alone! That's partly why I went with 18" as the freight is less than half of 19".
  5. I assume over 3k for a set of them delivered?
  6. My guess is he is running a higher tyre pressure to sit more of the middle of the tyre on the ground. This can help wear the tyres more evenly depending on your situation.
  7. Thanks for all the input guys. I ended up buying a 200cpsi cat. This I hope is a good balance with flow and keeping the exhaust quiet for the happiness of the wife and there fore me. This should still be fine as I'm deleting the cat in the dump also.
  8. I hear you. Luckily it looks like I have a functioning cat in the 180SX and I rarely drive it these days also. I do have a bolt in Jap 200 cpsi cat for it but just too lazy to bolt it in. I like the extra power of a hollow cat but dont like the increased noise of the exhaust. I dont want the M35 to be like this!
  9. I did this to the ceramic so called "high flow" cat in my 180SX and Hello power!
  10. Any of you guys running a turbo back exhaust finding the boost increases over standard due to the extra flow?
  11. At one stage I ran a 400 cpsi ceramic "high flow" 3" cat on my 180SX and it blocked up in 6 months. We couldnt work out why the car had lost a heap of power and couldnt hit high boost when it was on the dyno. Pulled out the cat to find it had half blocked. I wont run a ceramic core cat again after that.
  12. Not yet, hope to have time tomorrow.
  13. Na there no good as they are a 400 cpsi ceramic core. Not much better than a factory cat.
  14. I thought they would have a temp sensor in the cat like the earlier turbo Nissans have.
  15. Does it have a fitting for the cat sensor at all?
  16. Hey guys Looking at getting a 3" metal core high flow cat to use in a new front pipe. Looked on Ebay and found the "BOKKA" and "KENOBI" 100 and 200 cpsi cats. They are pretty cheap going for under $200 delivered. From what I can see most of the brands on Ebay appear to be the same cat from the same manufacturer, just badge with different names. I know they more than likely arent ADR compliant and Euro emissions compliant like they say (not too worried about this) but I wanted to know if anyone has used them and what the quality is like. Im interested to know if the core has held together or started to fall apart. Also are people going more for the 100 cpsi over the 200 cpsi? I found a flow test result from Cateran showing that a competitors 200 cpsi flows about 50 cfm less than their 100 cpsi. This would make the 200 cpsi a reasonable choice as it may help keep the exhaust slightly quieter. Thanks guys
  17. I ordered a set of these for our M35. Being made now and hopefully here in around 2 months.
  18. SinStag, sorry mate but they are some nasty wheels. Such as nice looking Axis like that deserves a lot better. But I guess everyone is different.
  19. Rust shouldn't be of concern as they can't comply them if it's too bad.
  20. Also ask to see the de-registration papers from Japan. They should have these as they are needed to gain import approval to Australia.
  21. That grill has the radar equipped cruise control, I think thats fairly rare! The colour coded surrounds on the taillights are a/market add ons. Mine also has the rear roof spoiler, so far I havent seen many of these factory spoilers. They certainly make the rear end look better.
  22. Tanabe NF coilovers arrived today as did a set of Iridium spark plugs from the US, only $54 delivered, bargain! K&N panel filter should arrive tomorrow and a mate is bringing me a Powerduct back from Japan in a few weeks. Car leaves Japan tomorrow!
