Thanks guys. We are very happy with the purchase. The blue M35 is still for sale, think it has 80k on it and 655,000fob and dont forget the nice bronze 19" TE37's. This is one of the wheels I'm thinking of. Pity they only come in 18" largest. Of course it needs lowering but its a quick photo chop to think about. -

I thought of fitting the new wheels to the car but the wheels I like are made to order, this takes around 3 months. Ill post a pic as soon as I can. Im in the middle of discussions/arguments with the finer half regarding 19's. She is firm on NO bigger than 18's. The quote from Streeter for the 18's is about $2200 delivered via sea freight but the same wheel in 19" is $3100 as they can only be sent via EMS, not the cheaper sea freight due to size and just over the weight limit for sea freight. Bit weird, I would have thought sea freight would allow heavier items than EMS. -

Thanks guys. I cant wait to drive it! I just emailed Streeter to price up some rims for me in a 18x9+30 and 19x9+30. These should fit nice and flush, I hope! Commsman, what width an offset are your 18's? Im also leaning towards running an 18" with a 245/45-18, this should help keep a nice ride comfort once lowered to keep the other half happy Ill contact Brad about grabbing a tuner asap. -

Well guys I am now the proud owner of an 02 NM35 250t RS Four. Just have to wait for it to come from Japan and get complied. It has the factory aero body kit with the roof spoiler. Silver in colour and factory tv. Now im trying to decide on what size rims to order. Im tossing up between 18" and 19" and sizes from 8.5+30, 9+30, 9.5+35 or 9.5+30. They will all sit pretty much the same within 5mm, as far as I can work out. My main problem is I want to keep the over diam as close as possible to factory and want a reasonable side wall for comfort. What tyre size are guys running with 18" and 19" rims? I have a mate "Rex Kelway" that customs makes manifolds, dumps, roll cages and so on, making a dump pipe for it, he will also soon have them for sale. Next on the hit list is the language conversion done and tv tuner to run a set up for the iphone. No other power mods will be done to it as it will be our daily car. -
Thanks for that explanation. So it only works via speed and NOT rpm?
-
Sorry for my ignorance guys. Im not fully up to speed with the M3 Stagea, I am still looking at the auctions in Japan to bring one over asap. Can someone please explain what the throttle restriction is and how it works? Thanks guys Paul

you need to post a price per the rules
-
If its coming out clean I would say your oil isn't doing a good job. Oils should trap contaminants that the filter will not. Every engine will get some amount of contaminants in the oil no matter how good you think your engine is.
-
What price are you charging for your dumps? Would you sell just the flanges?
-
Anyone have some pics of these a/market dump pipes?
-
That is a roller fiqure not calculated back to the flywheel When my 180 was running e85 it made 275rwkw on 17psi and had 520nm at the flywheel. But as you said it pulls like a freight train in 5th and that's the main thing. Also I was lucky to get 280km from 55 lt using e85.
-
I wouldn't believe in that 900nm figure too much. Power and torque are relative to a point. I think you would have around 5-600nm max with that power level.
-
Yeah only thing I'm changing is the dump pipe and air filter with cold air feed. I don't want nor need more power as I have my 180sx sitting in the shed all set up for the days when I want a bit more excitement.

Im looking at getting a M35 stagea as soon as I find a nice one at the auctions. If i can get 13lt/100km city and 10lt/100km highway I will be happy. After all my 180SX with 270rwkw gets mid 12lt/100 city and mid 9lt/100km highway after a lot of work by my mate tuning it correctly.

Nice, sounds like you bought exactly what we are after. We are looking for either silver, black or white with the same specs as yours, except we arent too keen on sunroofs. What width and offset are you looking at going? I might take you up on the offer to look at it as Im just over in Hillcrest. Cheers -

I noticed that and that's the colour I'm after with aero kit. I think I would be happy enough with 18s and lowered about 30mm. Can anyone confirm if 18x9.5+30 will fit and not hang outside the guards nor hit the suspension? This seems to be the best sizing the work xt7 comes in. -

Sweet, thanks guys. I will definitely look for a none Bose equipped car but with the factory tv screen then. I don't really like super low profile tyres. This is why I'm thinking of sticking with 18" and looking at a set of work XT7 in 18x9.5+30 all round. Commsman, any chance you can post a pic of your car with the 18s? -
Hi guys. I sold my C34 Stagea so now I'm looking at importing an nm35 stagea. I'm looking at either the 250t rs aero option or the 250t rx aero option models. I'm wanting a bit of advice as to whether is worth getting an rx with the Bose option or the rs with the standard single din. My concern with the Bose is if and when it packs it in the cost to fix or convert to the single din option and use an aftermarket head unit. Also if I get one with the tv navi set up after its had the English language conversion and tv tuner fitted can I somehow adapt a DVD player to it easily? What costs are involved with language conversion and tv tuner set up? The only mods I want on the car are a set of wheels, can't decide on 18" or 19", lowered rsr springs or nismo s tune set up and an aftermarket dump pipe. Do some of you guys run 18" wheels and look ok or do they definitely need minimum of 19"? Will a 9.5"+30 fit nicely without sticking out the guards or hitting suspension? And lastly what suspension do most of you run? I don't want coilovers as I have a set of greddy type s in my 180sx with 8/6kg springs and don't want this type of ride in the stagea. If you guys can think of another pointers please share them. Thanks guys.
