  2. im having boost troubles now but that is being fixed next week, the gauge seems alright
  3. it was my first but it was completely stock when i got it then the stock turbo blew after about 8 months then it was modified. ive had it since march 2008
  4. ok im trying to turn my stock r33 GTS-T into something more powerful and i understand that when you hit a certain kw rating things need to be upgraded or replaced. ive done the usual mods exhaust, turbo, intercooler etc. but now ive come to a standstill and dont know what to do next and whether large mods like forged pistons, cam gears or gearbox modifications are even required at this stage or if they are even necessary. so heres what ive done so far Splitfire coilpacks front mount intercooler exedy hd clutch turbo upgrade (GT-RS) Apexi Pod filter Apexi mkII evolution dual exhaust hi-flo cat stainless steel front and dump pipe GOING IN NEXT WEEK: Apexi Power fc +hc SARD 850cc injectors NGK iridium spark plugs Z32 afm everything else is stock at this stage, im thinking fuel pressure regulator next or at the same time as the injectors. in what order should i do these ps: im not interested in any1 willing to take the piss out of this as i am new to the industry!
  5. so ok the injectors wont harm the engine bcos they are set to match the air intake with fuel (more air, more fuel) ok. what about a fuel regulator will the stock regulator be able to run injectors as big as 850cc coming from a stock setup or will it be wise to get an aftermarket fuel regulator if so which one?

  8. um itt doesnt go to the + side always in - but it moves does it affect th performance in any way or does it just get a bad reading?
  9. hi guys bit curious when i had my boost gauge fitted before i picked up the car (r33 GTST) i noticed that instead of running the vacuum hose up the pillar they decided to punch a nice hole through my firewall but what i was concerned about they have obviously used a drill but didn't know they destroyed something while making the hole. when i brought it up they said not to worry and it wont change anything, but surly it was there for a reason. its a small black box about 3cm by 5cm behind the right wheel arch in the engine bay, next to the steering collum. does it really mean bad things or not to worry?? and for the record "What is it"? pics
  10. hi all recently ive had trouble with my rb25 since my regrettful turbo upgrade ive been told to add injectors and ECU into it to sort it ive bought a APEXI POWER FC and SARD 850cc injectors but im a bit worried about putting them into a stock engine i mean surely increased injection would make alot more heat and strain on the engine so what do i have to do to prevent it from exploding after i spent so much on it, forged pistons??
  11. hi i bought my r33 GTS-T stock a while ago and have done a bit of modding on it so far but also blew my stock turbo so i had it replaced with a HKS GT-RS bolt on ever since ive had it on it whistles like a mofo even with the slightest increase of throttle but thats not the worst part ever since then ive almost lost my boost completely. as soon as it hits about 3000 revs it almost chokes and refuses to go any more so i have to back off, i tried racing my friends stock subaru and had my ass handed to me. but when the boost was needed it somehow felt like neutral. this is really getting to me and i would of thought a turbo upgrade would actually be an "upgrade". i dont want to give up but i do want to fix this so far i havent got the answer i need. suggestions would be appreciated stock except for: front mount intercooler walbro 400hp fuel pump splitfire coilpacks APEXI N1 evol mk2 exhaust hi-flo cat conv stainless steel dump+front pipe GT-RS APEXI Pod filter
