Last year I was in Europe for 3 months, saw a purple R33 gtr in Amsterdam and a white R35 in Athens. In the same amount of time I saw 3 Veyrons so lines are pretty rare over there, rareer than veyrons lolz

Need Advise Where To Take Skyline For Repairs
Kujotk replied to johnny443's topic in New South Wales
Yavus @ Unigroup and no body else. And for the love of god don't take it to anyone in the hills district or who has "Hills" in their name (unless you feel like paying premium for someone to wreck your car) -
Didn't I tell you to google it, google catches nearly everyone out, now you have a place to search and entrap him. The number may come up as a business, usually found in the classifieds, it is the best when this happens and you then find the same guy trying to sell his car on carsales, go out to view the car and demand your money back or you'll beat him to a pulp, true story, google is great and bad at the same time. It is getting harder for the scammers and crims to make a living these days with instant access to information.

You are probably right, how many "BNR34 V spec ii nur" are running around? I did a google search and came up with 750 were made minus the smashed ones (plenty of smashed ones). http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fs...Vs-t182354.html Broken english (sounds like Japanese broken English when you read it out aloud)

Now we are on a tangent. I agree, but supply and demand vs percieved value of the product.... if you can charge extra, then why wouldn't you? I'm not saying it is right, but if the customer is prepared to pay that price then why not? Having said that if you knew the cost of production for everyday products, you wouldn't feel good buying anything in Australia, you would always feel like you are being ripped off. Go to Bunnings and you see a kitchen tap for $300, how much is it to buy from the manufacturer in China? Under $20 and the manufacturer puts a 1000% mark up on it already. Capitalists world we live in, no such thing as a bargain.

This is shapping up to be a "sit back and enjoy the LOL's" thread. I'm yet to see a car model that has actually gotten worse from one model to the next, especially one from 2001 then a break of a few years, then 2008 so R34<R35. Also LOL at the comment about the guy not having info because he doesn't speak english.... The internet isn't just English, not to mention translator programs or the fact the Nissan is a global brand. The R35 is better than the R34 by miles, the 2011 model is shaping up to be much better than the current 2010 model as well. Reliability is subjective, with so many cars being produced and with so many variables, it is inevitable there is going to be some faulty cars, just like any other car make in the world... There would have been some R34's that blew gearboxes early on as well, all depends on how much publicity the news gets and if you are receptive of the news. Landrover had the same throttle body issues as Lexus/Toyota did, but it never got that much publicity... How long is a piece of string?

Have you googled the number? I always start there, especially when money is involved with people I never dealt with before. Ask the cops what to do as he has frauded you and you have his number and proof of money being deposited... they can look up who owns the number and look up who owns the bank account. It is only a few phone calls and minimal paper work to do that. Otherwise pray that it comes (which it still might) maybe he is flying it in from overseas and just reselling it ect... a million legit and dogey reasons, but a couple of weeks isn't much time

Congrats Jeremy, you and Geselle looked great. When I left the roads were soaking wet, the rain only missed the ceremony by about 500 meters or so... Devine intervention perhaps?

Shannons has already asked a 458 Italia to install it in Melbourne, the owner of the car told them to get stuffed. I'm not worried, but if it starts getting popular, then education not to accept these devices is the only thing we can do to try to stop insurance companies that try to make us use such devices. Otherwise owning a track/road car will be a thing of the past. We all know most SAUers use their car at the track and drive the same registered car home, if everyone has to get a trailer and buy a car specifically for the track then Imagine the SAU memberships drop like a rock then....

lol that is if it can be proved there was revers involved..... otherwise the guy behind is usually up shit creek even if he isn't in the wrong
-
That is what I mean, the law says if it looks like someone has been hit in a rear ender (if it was actual rear ender or someone made it look like one and you can not prove otherwise) then the person behind in the eyes of insurance is in the wrong. No two ways about it, don't know why you posted that up for, it only confirms what I said????
-
If you run up someone it is the person behind that is ALWAYS at fault no exceptions (if there are do share). Also you jump to the conclusion that it is only people doing Illegal or Unsafe things that will cop it, for sure they will face the brunt of it, but they are not the only ones and that is their own fault. The system will assume that the cars are ALWAYS being driven on the public roads, no matter even if you take it on to tracks (where insurance is void anyway) where it is safe and legal to be a knob. Insurance companies wont let there be a button to simply switch it off whenever you feel like driving spirited on private property as you could just switch it off all the time. What if you do a lot of city peak hour driving? Quick hard acceleration to merge or get out of the way of emergency vehicles, quick turns, heavy breaking as the lights change and you don't want that safety cam fine, taxi's drtiving like idiots all around you. Yeah good on you Mr don't break the law , you don't have to break the road rules to have a hard day on the roads especially if you live in the Major cities. I took it from another car forum, it should be doing the rounds around now. It isn't a major established thing because it is only new technology. There was a time when immobilisers were once new technology and insurance companies were only attatching them to high end cars. Uk insurance companies are already demanding them for certain makes and there is one instance where it has been asked for in Australia. But seriously you think Insurance agencies won't just use this as another excuse to raise their prices? Ofcorse they will. Everyone will suffer, there won't be any winners unless you stop driving all together. ANything the UK does, we follow suit.... Fixed speed cameras, bus lanes, bike lanes, average speed detectors, gun laws, especially since the basis of ALL INSURANCE AGENCIES IN AUSTRALIA have roots to the UK where they collaborate under LLoyds of London and share info. But time will tell, the only way to stop the system is to avoid the insurance companies that use them. I do hope the system fails. Ask the OP for the source http://aussieexotics.com/forum/driving/ver...are-8263.0.html as I said before I am only the messenger, but i'll look into it in more depth.

VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TELEMATICS ........ big bother is knocking on your insurance door. I can tell you as a fact that Insurance companies in Australia are looking right now at bringing in the compulsory fitting of these devices as a requirement for you getting insurance on your exotic/super car/modified high performance cars. This is an example of the pitch insurance companies are using right now, http://www.insurethebox.com/ offering discounts and help if your car is stolen but shortly it will be a demand, especially for big dollar vehicles and high risk vehicles such as HPI's.... Insurance companies are now offering discounts for people that fit Telematic devices that send details of how you drive back to the insurance company. These boxes send back your speed, braking, acceleration, distances, time of day.... all your driving habits directly to your insurance company (including track days). People on the car scene need to get together and black ban any insurance company that offers these devices in Australia otherwise you'll never be able to accelerate hard or brake hard again without losing your insurance cover. If you were driving at 10kmh over the limit at the time of any accident they will have a record of it and you wont have insurance. Next step will be the police having the power to look at this data as a way to "help lower the road toll" and using that excuse ......... you know it will go thru Parliament like Hugh Hefner through blondes. Right now they're offering it as an incentive to get discount to suckers that will come on board. Next step will be they wont insure your supercar, modified car or collector car without one.... then it will lead to no one getting insurance without one... the only way to fight this would be a world wide black banning of insurance companies offering their use right now. Unfortunately I cant see that happening, so welcome to our future, guys. Spread the word.

Audio Install, Now Have No Light To Cluster.
Kujotk replied to SHROOMZone's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
i'm no expert, but my instinct says you f**ked up and to check your fuses. Did you follow the diagram with the cd player and correspond it correctly to the r33 wires? I knew nothing about systems when I did mine and mine turned out fine, but it was years ago. Maybe post up some photos, someone might find what you did wrong with your wireing. Sounds like you wired the battery that has a constant power supply of power to keep memory when you turn the car off and the main power of the cd player with the accesories wrong for starters. Do you get what I mean? -
YUp in your case it makes sense as it isn't a daily and r33's are pretty much shit house with their power management with alarms because they have the tiniest battery in their boot (which i'm sure you are well aware of). Still a shame you can't take it out more often though
-
your battery will be fine for a year if you disconnect it from the car. Do r35's have a battery switch like other exotics have instead of having to disconnect the battery terminals?
-
It is more dependent on the quality and age of the battery, not so much the quality of the charger that determines if you can recharge a battery from fully dead. And yes the good quality chargers alter the current as it nears full. The Best recharger is to take the car out for a drive.... why buy a car if you don't use it enough to keep the battery running?
-
Changing the reason for selling generally tells buyers there is trouble with your car, just a handy tip for next time

ummmmmm SAU QLD????? *face palm*

YUp this is the easiest, and sometimes even the cheaper alternative, especially when you break the dump pipe/turbo exhaust flange bolts in the turbo flange and depending how unlucky you are you could be up for a turbo out job just to be able to drill the bolts out
