i'd pay $80k for one of the OZ delivered ones with full service history, 100% original parts, full key set, great condition, genuine low milage. I wouldn't consciously pay more than $40k for that car especially when there is no history at all, for all we know it's been written off and some smart guy has repaired it and shipped it over here.

Yeah Albert it's been working for over 3 months now. only when heading towards bellavista direction, not when heading to castle hill

Well if you came to that conclusion, then I think you were already missing a few brain cells before opening this page. FYI the signage is very hard to notice, it is a 24 hour speed camera and it doesn't matter if the red light camera part is activated or not, doing 1km/hr over is hardly being unsafe and that is all you need to cop it from one of these, and no one said anything about running red lights, you did that all on your own sweet heart

I love them but i wouldn't buy a private import one, in australia they are worth a fraction of the price an aussie delivered 22b would get, fake km's, no books, no spare keys, it's an Edward Lee car. Then again in 30 years time it'll be worth sending back to japan to sell it there and make a pretty penny with their enthusiasts. Beautiful car but it shouldn't have come over to Australia, lol at Edward Lee

I'm not saying it's right to do it, but these cameras are only getting average drivers, people that are doing usually 1-10km/hr over the limmit, it's hardly worth loosing a licence over. They are not getting dangerous drivers or intentional speeders ect.... everyone goes a few km's over the limmit every now and then, through lack of adequate concentration, road surface, slopes, to get out of someones blind spot ect.... either way thats the law and they are the rules, we have to love them or not participate in the roulette of driving.

could just get it from WA without the risk of customs getting it

nah $600 fine over 3 months is under $7 per day, that's cheaper than most people's bus ride to the city in sydney and back home. It's the 3 months of relying on others, paying for taxis, wasteing time that hurts the most. People usually pay more than $7/day for petrol anyway. If you loose yours you will find that you won't mind doubling the fine just to get your licence back

don't listen to what people say, cops are always updating their radar detector detectors just as fast as the new radar detectors come out, the radar detectors and the detector detectors are made by the same company and released at the same time, and the cops don't make public when they change their system so you ould be fine for 3 months, then bam they change their sytem and you get done for the detector that is worse than the fines.

thats a mad car, seen it a few times, the number plate is a fail though

at over $1.4mil AU it is a different type of Supercar, may not be fast but it's still super

That sounds like a plan, that or move to Europe. i'd rather cut off my right nutt thanks lol just kidding. My mate tells me all this good stuff about the act when it comes to driving. ANd is it true there hasn't been a p plate fatality in the act in some ridiculous amount of time? 10 years or more?

Just as the title says. I've noticed a lot of them around now, 2 new ones are currently being built on silver water road on the M4 on and off north and south bound. The one on pennant hills road at observatory park @ pennant hills goes off with out fail while i'm waiting at the red light. No body is speeding bad, but people are doing under 10km/hr over the limmit and are probably starting to loose their licences. Here is the link from the RTA of the current/proposed locations. Keep a look out guys, it is usually a stupid unintentional mistake. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/roadsafety/downl...a_locations.pdf

I copped it in 2007, 33 over, 3 month suspension, starts roughly a month or 2 after you pay the fine. I only knew about it after the cop pulled me over but by then it was too late, copped my time, the slowest 3 months in my life, 2 weeks after getting my licence back I went out and bought a gtst lol. Haven't had any problems since. When that happened to me I found out that 45 and over was 6 month suspension, $1200 fine (think it's way more now), and the cop has the power to disqualify your lisense there on the spot. When I was doing research into it a few years ago Duncan, I never came across the 15-30km over suspension rule so they must have gotten rid of it sometime before 2007. I think 3 month and 6 month is abit tough as well as massive fines. It should be 1 month then 3 months instead, with maybe 6 month or more for repeat offenders I guess. And the fines should be lower, there is no reason for it especially when all your worry about is the loss of licence and how you are going to get to work.

Thailand has pink cabs, as well as blue, yellow/green... and they look awesome (even though they are carolas), and they also have funny stickers on their windows....

red book goes down the shitter after a year or two because dodgey cnts go cheap to save on transfer fees when buying second hand..... then they cop it when insurance says they will only cover what the car was paid for (on the books). For the time being red book is close to the mark with r35's, but they don't distinguish between auction cars, desperate sales, sales between family members for tax reasons, damaged cars ect....
-
red book is always wrong these days, but the r35 will not hold it's value anywhere near as good as the Oz delivered R32's have. I've seen a white oz delivered r35 already sell at auction for under $140k and a dealer sell another white one for $150k includeing ORC. It's not the asking price that matters, it's the sale price that's important. Must be the high milage and quick sale thats pushed that particular car down so fast.

Fs 98 R34 Gt-t Manual Skyline,, New Pics !
Kujotk replied to BASHO's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Cheers for a good looking car, hope the sale goes well. -
sounds about right, just because people are asking for $18k+ doesn't mean that's what it's worth nor does it mean they will get that price. 7K trade in is rediculous $16-18 sounds like a good private figure in my opinion. But then again i'm assuming yours is in reasonably good condition with less than 100k on the odometre, ok service history. Drives well. good luck and post some pics of the car up

I now I know it's not from the 70's, but still I think this needs a mention.
-
yeah they would, and it would be cheaper to insure than an r33 gtst insured to a p plater lol

on my car ive had an air leak (when i forgot to but a large rear pipe back on after pulling it appart) and a coil loom that wasn't clipped in properly after a mechanic changed the spark plugs. in my experience and depending which hose is faulty the cars idle will not be smooth, feels like stalling when in idle for a while. running on 5 cylinders makes the car sound like a wrx and it looses heaps of power, car will shake a bit aswell. Have a look at the coils, the connections, spark plugs, if it only does it sometimes it sounds like something is loose (without looking at your car or whatever, make sure the connections for the coils are not just connected with the clip, but make sure the mettal parts inside the connection are actually touching properly)

As a genuine car enthusiast, I appreciate all good cars. I'm not one of these knobs that thinks one make or model is the be all and end all like some people on these forums think. Every car has it's strengths and weaknesses and no one make has made the perfect car (despite what the R35 blokes think). Great pics Birds, also DOOOO IIIITTTT, SR20 it lol
