  1. here found this in the wastelands, hope it helps. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ho...99#entry5203999
  2. guys if your interested in models go to the NSW forum section, there is a thread in there called "display your car free" and its about an event this weekend @ bankstown airport. go have a look
  3. forget a seethrough engine, what about a completely see through 370z??? http://www.crunchgear.com/2010/04/23/trans...-engine-oil-ad/
  4. ??? guess its a secret
  5. Good luck with it Nick, it would surprise allot of enthusiasts when you take off from traffic lights and it grumbles like a V8
  6. lol shush you. But doesn't that video look like a early 90's video?
  7. a helicopter ride is fine, but the way you have mentioned it (basically one winner out of a possible 50 or so entrants) doesn't sound too appealing, not to mention that allot of people would rather not go in a helicopter for various reasons. If the odds are very much against winning a cash prize then people won't bother going to an event just to sit there all day and not get any recognition. The only way it would work is to get associated directly with a few of the car clubs and see if they can combine one of their events into your event. Think about it objectively, if you had no interest in aviation or model vehicles, would you go there to display your car and hang around all day somewhere that doesn't interest you? Ask a few of the tuning companies they can have a stand their to promote their company ect....
  8. rear wheel drive only aswell.....
  9. I like the title, "display your car....free" We all display our cars when we drive to the shops or go out somewhere... this probably needed more incentive to make people want to take their cars.
  10. Stagea, no cop issues, still very quick, can sleep in the back of it on road trips and can park in loading zones in the city FTW!!! both r33's and stageas are like pushing shit uphill when it comes time to sell
  11. 1: Ferrari F430 2: Ferrari 360 3: Lambo Murcielago 4: R35 5: Maserati Granturismo 6: CL63 AMG 7: Maserati 3200 8: Merc CLS350 9: R33 Porsches are great (except for the boxters) but they don't feel special, and only the turbo ones have any decent guts, but there set up for race and feel like dogs balls to drive on sydney roads, track would probably be more suited for them.
  12. over the years ive had similar experience with Vpower, even made a thread about it last month
  13. The car is now past the prototype stage and is a valid Nurburg time seeing as this car is going on sale in 2011, it has more carbon fibre, quicker gear shifts, improved downforce, rev limmiter has been raised to 9000rpm (complete standard 599 engine). Got a time of 6 minutes 58'16. As usual I doubt any will come to Australia
  14. take out rental and company vehicles and taxis and the sales of commos and falcons arn't that high at all, corolla and civics win then. Commos and falcons would be australias favourite cars if they could go for 3 years without overheating on a hot day... And if i was buying a car purely for the fun of driving it i'd get an elise
  15. wow ive lost 5 mintues of my life reading some of these posts. So you come to a Skyline forum and ask questions about Honda power? They are reliable, they are cheap, they are a tight ass way to get ok track times, parts are cheap. They are boring to drive, they sound ugly, they are Front wheel drive, Decent around corners but once those front tyres slip your next stop is a pole. There is a reason they are one of australias most popular "family" cars, a civic gets compared to a carolla, need i say more? If you want fun with your car do not get a honda, if your on a budget then you may not have a choice... Also forgot to mention i'll forever associate you as Hektor in fast and the furious with his bloody spoon engines. In summary they are decent cars, but you are on the wrong forum
  16. lol I saw the lines and signs comming back from Port Mac this morning,,,,, didn't spot any planes, but there were 11ty zillion highway patrol floating around.... cruise control set on 115, no probs
  17. Appropriate setting for something as crazy and as safe as an Atom to be in... and how do they get ADR with those tiny wheel arches?
  18. im still spotting your car nearly everyday at the pool shop. My pools green again, I should drop in and get it sorted.
  19. it would be pretty epic to see what damage in emu egg can do to the car....
  20. bring back capital punishment.... and i'll organise the events @ stadium Australia, $5/ticket, $15 Family passes
  21. ummmm just because something is possible doesn't mean it should be made... http://www.thatvideosite.com/video/disappearing_car_door
  22. If you thought that vid was cool, well this one isn't as good, but its still interesting.... http://www.dpccars.com/car-videos-10/04-23...Nissan-370Z.htm
  23. lets stop this topic and turn it into a fail thread..... being led by the guy in this video http://www.thatvideosite.com/video/we_just...oughwait_for_it
  24. or as Underbelly would like us to believe, carl williams made everyone rich.....
  25. Melbourne is very different to sydney, basically the Greeks, Italians and now some of the rich asians love to show off to their rellos and friends, they can't afford the mortgage but they have crazy cars down there. Much like up here you drive through merrylands and some of the 1st generation born immigrant kids that are now in their 20's are driving around in new M3's... their in debt to their eyeballs, but they can pay off their whole income into a car because they live at home untill thier 50 years old. Melbourne also has much bigger reposession auctions than we do up here and we have a million more people in our city than they do....
