    Price For R35

ive been seeing drive away new prices @ $185ish. Used 2009 ones have been going from $134k upwards, asking price is about 160ish but they'll take $150K, most of the dealers are finding it hard to move used ones.
  3. good i'm not the only one
  4. Funny you should say that Nick, I actually picked up a new one yesterday and now my other cars are wasteing away in the driveway being destroyed by the elements. PM me and i'll send you the link with some pics of it, lets just say comprehensive insurance is $6k/year and shannons/dawes ect... wouldnt touch me because i'm under 30 years old. Edward lee has the worst rep for imports on Parramatta road (and thats pretty fkn bad).
  5. Your right, you don't need a permit, they are only for travelling long distances without insurance/rego ect... if it needs a blue slip you can drive it to your closest blueslip mechanic, if it needs rego you can drive it to your closest RTA. Providing you have all the documents with you that you are going to need to get blue slip/rego done. I did it yesterday on a car without any numberplates and it sticks out like red dogs balls, I even drove past a general duties officer and he didn't do anything.
  6. over 11 000 examples of the 355 produced, it is the most common Ferrari and I doubt loosing even 1000 would make a price difference.
  7. dont get me started on just jap birds, if they don't like the way you look, the price goes up 10%. Also i bought split fires from them, a whole box, through the window of the box it looked like there were six coils in there, 2 minutes after i left i stopped at a maccas around the corner from them and decided to open it up and there were only 5, and the 5 were used. after 30 minutes one of the guys there admitts he didnt check the box and regurlarly they get returns or sell individual coils where there may only be 5 coils in a box instead of six. I boycot them ever since, imagine if you ordered it online, there goes $600. I send for japan now anyway, everything is cheaper and never had a prob
  8. yes but a collectors car is NEVER valued proportionate to what its really worth.
  9. i'd go tow truck, probably cost the same as a driver, and no issues either
  10. i doubt there was one, unless thats why he smashed
  11. yup the prices of them havent really dropped much and look to rise

  13. I'm up near castle hill in Dural in Sydney, so not too far from WOY WOY, bout 25 min drive, he was an older fellow, easily well into his 60's and he gives the right peddal alitlle aswell. It was blue and original gold rims, as i said it was showroom condition so i'd imagine an aussie car but who knows. He may have been a builder as he was talking to a neighbour who is building another house while he is renting here, just looked like a builder collecting money or discussing about the project. I agree R34 for that sort of money, but for a STI it was the creme of the crop.
  14. http://aussieexotics.com/forum/ferrari/fer...rs-t6967.0.html Heres the link. FYI the cars not that expensive, a new R35 gtr is easily worth more than this, also a 2nd hand auction job import R35 is still worth more. Looks like a 97 model F355
  15. hey theres a vid of it aswell, i watched it yesterday on another forum
  16. its good in theory, but i'm afraid that it will be over run with bogan utes that change their holden emblem to a chevrolet one and have southern cross stickers all over the back windscreen. ps: don't get angry hobbits, my missus is one of your species, so one day I may become a hobbit myself lol. Nah but seriously another track anywhere near sydney is fine because wakefield is a bitch to tow a car back from and EC is way too full
  17. Just had a blue 2 door STI visit the neighbour, it just looked and sounded much better than a normal wrx sti, it was in show room condition, on closer inspection I realised it was a 22B. Back in the day (a young kid) I loved te 22b. Now i hate most wrx's but still love the 22b. Just curious how many of them are in Australia? with under 400 made and a few of them going to the UK and a couple going to WRC and the odd occasional write off, i'm wondering what one of these would be worth in OZ? cheers
  18. isn't the LFA classed as a hyper car anyway? and not a super car like the gtr
  19. how much you want for the washer bottle motors? And did they work?
  20. when a car costs more than half a million, it will earn its own prestige name by itself
  21. sorry to anyone that cares, the F430 in OZ costs $580k + extras + ORC not $480k
  22. conventional manual is almost dead in the supercar world You are not a wanker because of the car you own. You are a wanker because how you carry on about owning a certain car.[/i] Brilliantly said
  23. the price of the lfa is going to be way more than $350k, try $500+. Looking at other supercars overseas we pay one of the highest prices for new cars than any other developed country in the world. EG: a brand new F430 costs $480k + extras + ORC. Same car in the UK new costs $250k AUD Even a holden monaro is cheaper to buy in europe than it is here from holden I see the LFA price not being proportionate compared to the US prices.
