Apparently the owner wants the money to buy a new streamliner (private jet)

my point exactly, butr after a couple of years redbook becomes useless when they start getting imaginary cheap prices so people can save on fees and stuff.... but for now since the cars are still fairly new rebook should be fairly reliable, I'd be surprised if the gtr at Rick Damelian would sell for more than $140k even though they are asking $158k, an asking price is very much different to the actual price

in the uk their car/pedestrian safty rules are very very strict compared to ours. The idea is the soft bonnet will cussion some of the blow to the head nstead of the cusion being the engine block. Find out if your car has the feature here in OZ first of all, and if it does then this is going to be more than a "change hinges job", if you hit a pedestrian and insurance finds out you deactivated it, or lets say the pedestrian died and someone takes it to court saying you had deactivated it and that led to the death...... what then???? Fair enough most of us wont have an accident at all, and even less chance of it being a pedestrian..... but still,

i havent read all the posts or the links, but ive had cars with similar issues (NOT R35) and with these cars its either a Faulty brake assembly (uneven ware on one pad), CV joints or a worn/broken wheel bearing..... ive eevn had a car with diff probs making a similar sound but for the rear of the car, and even the power steering...

atleast they understand they have a bad batch and are fixing it..... it is near impossible to build a car model and not have any issues like this. every car model from every brand has issues of various degrees like this one

in 5 years the price of r35's will follow suit of the r34 gtr, held its value good untill 2005 and then the ass dropped out of them, ive seen r34 gtr's being offered for $40k recently, but that is fter what 11 years after being built? Still awesome value now. But really every modern car has that cycle now anyway. But for some reason the adm r35's have dropped $30k in 8 months or so, not a good start for the resale aspect, great for nearly new cars with warantee and save $30k

thats why i said it should be cheaper, because i know if i was given an r35 for a 21st bday prez and i didn't earn it myself, those 5000km on the odometer would all be launch control km's. Also RD doesn't negotiate that much with his prestige unless its extreme circumstances...

Hey i was actually looking at that and at the 360 and 430's damelian has there for sale. The story the salesman gave me is the car was bought for a brat kids 21st birthday prez, it has a nismo exhaust as the only extra i could notice when i took it for a test. Aparently he brought it to damelian and traded it for a Red modena convirtible..... fresh car, should be cheaper though

i took my subs out last time, but i still had the rest of the sytem in there, i noticed when i cranked it during the runs i wasn't anywhere near as smooth, but atleast it was more entertaining

speaking of county drive, the day after the lanes were changed there was a fatal..... where there hasn't been a fatal in 4 years..... go figure

That will work in an ideal world, tell me where this place is so i can move there? especially at pennant hills road where big semmis carrying anything up to 30t with hot brakes are cruising down a hill at 70km/hr, try stopping that in the 3 seconds the rta expects them to stop in. Truckies are always copping it harder than the rest of us. If your lucky you can anticipate the traffic lights, but how would you like to be forced to stop at amber only to find an 18 wheeler or more hammering up your ass with the trailer bouncing with locked brakes. And another rant, whats the deal with the stupid 4 lane county drive at cherrybrook turning into 2 lanes. its an F-ing main road!!!! RTA is being run by knobs

Either way I'll seriously be thinking of bringing something special to July texi, i have a feeling my skyline's turbo will shit itself at this texi with the summer temps and the fact its been running 10-12 psi for the last year and a half as a daily, so if i'm going home on the back of a trailer you can have your revenge then lol

there is a 06 V8 vantage i took on a test drive today at Italia Motori, doesn't have the punch i was expecting from it, then took the damelian r35 and a 360 f1 for a spin, r35 and modena are much better cars for similar price.... now deciding on the r35 vs modena, R35 is a much better car in almost every aspect except a black fresh modena looks better in my opinion, it'll keep its value much much better, the sound is pure sex (not that the r35 sounds bad, but ferrari sounds sweeter) also its only going to be a weekend car so to keep an r35 restricted with limmited usage would be a waste, so i'm leaning towards a nice black modena with tan interior... oh also took a lotus for a spin, that is by far the BEST car ever invented, but not what i'm looking for
