if a woman doesn't know what a Ferrari is, then she's not of legal age lol, and get the hell out of there...

hahaha all good, guess you could very well fit into the "outcasts" as you put it. I don't know you and have never met you so I was only having to try and find the most common ways people express how they want to be seen by others but wouldn't really think of it like they are trying to, like haircuts and what not... I wouldn't call those types of people outcasts though... as you said, if society wasn't so obsessed about other people, we would most probably be living in a much better world than we are at the moment. For thousands of years humans have been obsessed with how others see themselves, it is very very mainstream so many generations down the track... Oh and I was refereing to the monks and nuns who are the people who really don't care how they are seen by mortal humans, they only tend to care what God, Budda, Ganesh ect... think of them. So basically we are both right, just depends on how you view certain things in life aye?

but why would you insult the demographic of people who like fried chicken???? next the coolaide jar is going to be a racist.... lol If family guy can get away with it, why can't KFC?

if i wasn't interested in status and i had a choice of a stagea for performance, practicality and AWD, i'd choose a subaru liberty mainly because you'll always find parts and it has all the things the stagea has for a much better price (not saying the subaru is better, but it ticks the same boxes). Does exactly the same job, but even if your not consciously thinking it or want to admit it, there are a few cars that are on par with the stagea in every respect.... only difference is they are more rare and you would always know you are one of a few... there will be people who say they don't give a shit what other people think, but let me ask you, why an import car when their are suitable alternative already in the country? do you own any brand named things that you could have got much cheaper without the brand name being on the product like Nike or logitech? It's not an attack on you, but in reality very very few people don't give a shit what other people think about them, the people that truely don't care what peers think of them are literally the people you don't see, they have no need to be seen by other people. the car is an extension of a persons personality if you like it or not, the only reason we get haircuts and look in a mirror every now and then is to make sure you don't look like an idiot to the greater majority. Everybody cares what other people think about themselves, the only difference is the degree of how much it controlls their lives. Also thats the main reason the economy has been going shit the last couple of years, but its also why the economy was going great for the 10 years prior and will probably go great again for another 10 years after... Peer pressure isn't always a bad thing, if there weren't laws, what would stop you from punching your next door neighbour in the face? The fact that other people may not stand for it, they will think differently of you? sure its an exageration, and their are plenty of other factors, but peers are an influence, and always have been since nomadic tribes of human beings... Thats the fact

hey alittle random, and not really an issue at all, but since i still have my number "2" sticker on my windscreen from last texi, can I be put into race car number 2, 12, 20-29, or 32???? it'll save me trying to take it off the windscreen now that its baked into the glass... I'm an eccentric fool aye?

spotted a black R35 today in pyrmont, he parked, went into IGA and bought a bunch of flowers, plate was "R35 GOD". I'd have to say that was the nicest/cleanest R35 ive ever seen.

hell yeah!!! call me over when you get her started -
there are better things you can do with 10k, the best looking spray job i ever seen is a mat black spray can job on an old carolla, makes it look like the bat mobile.... if my r33 ever got vandalled and insurance didnt cover that what i'd be doing... but i'd hire some illegal immigrants to do it for me, have you ever tried using a spray can for more than 2 hours? Hey and the Thailand option is becomming more practical if i can go without the R33 for 4 weeks, the shipping would cost less than $2500 return trip, and get a holliday out of it at the same time.... But who am i kidding? i'm the lazy bastard who is still driving around with an unpainted front bar for 2 months...

what a waste of money

have any R35 guys ever come into the NSW section?

The only shit mercs are the A, B and C class mercs, although they are making them better now, never had any probs with the Real mercs, saloons and sports ones, but their was a dodgey batch of engine cooling fans making their way through european cars about 5 years ago which effected everything from merc/bmw/audi/maserati/alfa ect... The massa traction controll would have been fixed by resetting the ECU, transmissions arn't the best but they dont tend to break, they are just annoying and stiff and would benefit from being ratio'd for takeoff instead of topspeed which they are set up for....if you have the flappy paddles how good did you expect it to be, it was one of the first flappy paddles that ferrari ever brought out into its road cars... hadn't had any faults with mine wich is the model before your dads (basically same car) and ive had no probs thus far (touch wood) and the things been thrashed since i got it. lol electric windows, they are the first thing to break in any car, my door seals are still as new, my leather seats were looking worn aswell but your surposed to condition them according to how often and where it is kept in storage, usually every 3 months because leather is dead skin, once it dries it cannot heal itself. Tell your dad to go here www.maseratiforum.co.uk it'll save him from being ripped off by the maserati service centre talking crap and inventing problems with the car. Seriously though its made by ferrari, how good did you expect the workmanship to be? I'm not expecting miracles from mine but thus far ive had no probs... *touch wood*

and what does this have to do with the quote you replied to???? That a Sydney company is to blame for the GTR's ever increasing gremlins in its transmission....?

bloody boats have so much more room to work with than under the bonnets don't they.... and they make the most of it -
I was thinking exactly the same as you when i started reading this thread, but i wasn't sure on exactly what nissan does to each gear box and engine to match it up perfectly???? And if they do seem to match them perfect, they seem to be doing a pretty crappy job at it
-
ya but we are talking about nissan, not ferrari.... the people who buy nissans are more likely to want reliability out of their cars more so than the ferrari guys.... I know what your getting at but nissans are generally pretty good and one would expect them (especially one of their top of the line models) to be reliable, thats all...
