can some1 tell me what this little piece of paper says that tells you that you have to follow them to the rta/epa/defect station? since when is the law that you have to follow a police officer where ever he wants you to??? what if you were busy,or had some important things to do,this is not acceptable and no1 should take this crap. if i get pulled over and asked to follow them,ill say NO and see what happends,if he wants he can check the car himself and if he can see anything wrong with it,THEN give me a fine/ticket there and then. Is there somewhere were i can see if this law exists? also,if a car comes with a intercooler and you replace it with a bigger/aftermarket one,and cools the air charge temp lower,wouldnt the ECU correct the afr going to the motor? thats why we have a MAP/air flow meters! is there a adr/epa law in writing regarding this? ah man,im just pissed when i hear about this kind of stuff:mad:

i think that turbo is more then 650 hp rated,depending on your A/r...but how much are they new? when your after over $3K? and done over 60K kms

well,Duncan seemed to have raced it and hasnt mentioned it being a chick driver,so i asumed the owner was a bloke,and he gives the car to his wife/mum to drive it/shop in it:eek: but yeah,chicks driving in such a car would be/is a nice site to see:D ..i wish it was more often tho

Hi, just wondering who here in Sydney,or any1 for that matter can make a custom exhaust manifold for a single turbo conversion? or even if off the shelf. if there are any sites that you know of,that would be good as well. By the way,this is for a mkiv supra. cheers

yes,thanks for the great info:) i have some 18's that need repairing but insted of powder coating im after polishing them. i have been quoted $310 per rim for polishing,but i think thats way too much and might consider powder coating now,thanks to you;) Just one thing,when you said the blasting took out a filler?what did you actually mean? is it the filler that they repaired the rim with? cause ill have to repair 2x of mine. thanks again

2rismo, i think your right there,there shouldnt be a problem with ANY ecu to support more then 600hp. what can a Motec do that a power fc cant at over 600hp? what i think can happen is ...dont power fc's use internal MAp sensor? if so,that might limit the boost pressure,but fitting a aftermarket map sensor should be doable?

i believe the e6k is: $1595 you'll still need a MAP sensor using your original loom should be ok and you'll most likely be able to use all original sensors.

yes,a haltech has a turbo timer function,but you'll have to wire it in with relays... it also has a boost controler but you'll have to buy a haltech boost valve ~$120 you will also NEED a map sensor as it doesnt come with it in the kit ~$200 for a 3bar and if doing a complete loom,you might want the plugs ~$80-100 unless you wanna chop and solder to the original ones.
