  1. Im just planning to change the gasket (turbo to manifold). Noqw can this be done wothout removing the water and oil lines? Planning to do this tomorrow.
  2. I have about the same problem. I wired the RB25 harness in my R32 and everything was fine. I started it a few time so there was no problem there. Yesterday I hooked everything up (intercooler piping, radiator ect) and the car didn't start. No I see that my fuel guage is just hanging (it's WAY below empty). Today I checked to see if it is getting power at the fuel pump plug and nothing. What could this be? I remember I had the same problem at first but one day it just fixed its self.

  4. Does anyone know what is connected to the "MAIN" fuse ? I swapped a RB25 in my R32 and even when I remove the key, something is still taking power. I removed the "MAIN" fuse and it stops.

  8. I first changed the fuel filter and removed the regulator and put the switch on "run", let it pump for 2 sec and then put it back on. After that I tried again and VRooommm !! I guess the rail (and injectors) were dirty. Tomorrow I'll clean then and hope that that. Thanks for the help and suggestions. Carlos
  9. yes i double checked , they arent put on backwards, did you see my post about the voltage?
  10. i measured the gray wire it shows it has 12 v .. and when i measure the ground wire it also shows 12v, when the key switch is on "run". when I test the wires together (the gray wire, injector ground ) it shows around 2v , 3volt..(when the key switchis on "run") what could be the problem?
  11. I took the line of , cranked the engine and fuel came out of the line
  12. yes I hear them clicking, what could be the problem ?
  13. I put a RB25 S2 in my R32. We finished the wiring but only cranks and won't start. The engine is getting spark but no fuel. The fuel pump works fine but still noting. We put fuel in the intake and it start up fine. Im guessing the injectors arent firing. The grey wire gives 12V but when I try to start it it goes down to about 8V or lower. I still have to put a 12V wire on the VCT, AAC ect wire. Could this keep the injectors from firing?
  14. Good wiring guide. After a long time I'm finally done with the swap. We fired the engine up yesterday and everything working fine. Thanks for all the help predator. Just need the wiper to work. Hope someone can help.
  15. I finished the harnes but the spark plugs aren't sparking. I have a series 2 and it doesn't have a ignitor chip. I left the 12V IGN to Coil relay (enigne bay) wire unconnected, shoudl I connect the wires on the coil plug? This is the only problem the injectors are getting power and the fuel pump works fine. Hope someone can help.
  16. I finished the swap + wiring but now the car won't start. It only cranks and thats it. I checked the injectors ,coil and fuel pump and everything works fine. When I turn the key it only cranks and the engine doesn't get any fuel (fuel pump doesn't work). When I connected the wires on the ECCS power relay the car gets fuel but still won't start. I think the relay is the problem. Hope someone can help. Someone said I should connect extra ground on the block. That was the problem on this skyline.
  17. I swapped a RB25 S2 in my R32. I'm done with the harness (wiring the R32 dash plugs on the R33 harness) but what about the 3 TPS wires and 1 TPS power wire on the large incabin plug? Should these stay unconnected? And should I connect the 12V wire (engie bay plug) to the coil plug or will the ECU give the coil and injectors power?
  18. Where exactly should the TPS wires be connected?
  19. Should I connect a 12V wire to the Black/red wire (IGN switch) and tot the coils (white wire)? The Black/red wire splites up and goes to the incabin plug and to the injectors. This wire should get power for the injectors but I'm not sure if the power comes from the ECU (keep in mind I have a series 2)
  20. I have a Series 2 RB25 so I don't have a IGN to coil relay. I don't have the IGN relay power (pin 4). So I still don't know how the IGN gets power.
  21. I am in the middel of swapping a RB25det series 2 in my Skyline R32. I already labeled the wires on the incabin plug (dash plug) but I still don't understand the power feed. Here is how I believe it should go : ECU ----> On the incabin plug there is a Black/White wire ( ECCS Power Relay). This wire should be connected to the Black/White wire (12V const. to ECCS relay) from the 8 pin plug near the P/S in the engine bay. So it will be Black/White (engine bay) ---TO---> Black/White (incabin). IGN ----> I read that the Series 2 doesn't have IGN to coil relay. I traced the Black/Red wire from the ECU and I see it splits in 2 other wires 1. Gery wire that leads to the injector plug and 2. a Black/Red wire that leads to the incabin plug. Now I believe that the injectors get there power from the ECU. So I will not need the 12v IGN to coil relay wire (Thick Black/Red wire) from the engine bay plug. I read that the 12v wire should connect to the Red wire (pin 4) on the incabin plug, but I see I don't have this (think it's because I have a Series 2). Coils ----> I found he coil plug. There are 6 wires that go to the ECU and also a a Black(ground?) and White(12V power feed?). Just like the IGN I believe the coils get power from the ECU. If there is someone that has done a RB25 series 2 swap I really hop you can help me with this. Carlos Rudolph
  22. I double checked the wiring and I saw that I was lokking at the wrong plug. I see there are 8 wires on the coil plug, 6 that go to the ECU and 2 that go to another plug near by. I'm assuming the balc one is the ground and the white one is teh 12V power feed. Should I connect a 12V power to this wire or should I just leave it. If the ECu gets power will the IGN alo get the 12V power?
  23. I'm done labeling the wires. Now I need help with the power feed. 1. On my incabin plug I see a Black/White wire. This is the ECCS power relay but I do not see a Red wire(pin 4), which is Ignition power. Does this mean I should only connect the ECCS power relay to the power(Black/White wire) from engine bay plug to incabin plug? And how will the IGN get power? 2. I traced the coil plug wires back and see they go to the smaller incabin plug. I read on other forums that this plug is not used in the swap. Is this true, if not what should be done here? I have a Series 2 RB25DET.
  24. I put a RB25det S2 in my R32. I don't understand how the coils work (get power ect.),was hoping someone can help.
