I just got my RB25DET (series 2) and I was hoping you could help me with some questions. My Skyline is non turbo so it will be a big step with the RB25. Now then, my first question is about the gearbox mounts, I hear they aren't the same and I will also have problems with the speedo meter. What do you know about this? Can I use the Xmember of the R33 ?? The second is about the harness, everyone that has ever swapped an engine told me that the harness is the most difficult part of the swap. Do you have the diagram of the R32 and the R33 (still can't find it for the R32) and some pointers on how this is done?? Hope to get a reply from you soon Carlos Rudolph

Still cant find any good guides Now I have a T28. Planning to go GT35

The bellH (r33) will fit on a RB25 but the clutches are diffrent if its turbo/ non turbo. The clutches of a non tirbo are smaller then the turbo. I have a rb20 bellH (non turbo) with RB25 clutchs and it fit.

À friend of mine just told me that the gearbox wont hold the HP of the engine (planning on boosting 20psi). So I will use the RB25 gearbox. What should I do?? Thanks for the help

I'm about to swap my RB20de witha RB25det. I'm still going to use my Rb20 gearbox. Will I still have to "change" my drift shaft or can I use my old drive shaft since it the same gearbox??se s

I'm about to swap my RB20DE with a RB25DET. With the RB20 gearbox on the RB25 will I have to mod my tailshaft (the stock on the R32)????

The tailshaft will be longer. You can use the top parts of the tailshaft (which goes in the gearbox) and weld it to the bottom part(which goes into the diff.). If you do this you will have to balance it though.
