  1. Tire Rack has Z1 SS for $186 each. So $744 total, last time I paid $235 IIRC for shipping for a set of 15s. I suppose 17s might be $300 or so? $40 to $60 to fit the tyres and alignment between $40-$100 At MOST that'd be $1200, MINIMUM $350 would get you into the $1400-$1500 mark pretty quick

  3. Oops! I was in a rush when making the post and didn't really pay much attention, mah bad
  4. "FEAR33" drove side by side with you on plenty road. Hey, we're neighbours! I've actually seen you drive past a few times, if you happen to snoop around these forums, shoot me a PM
  5. Beautiful, thank you ARTZ.
  6. Thanks for clarifying, so it can be done exactly like so on an R33 GTR right?: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=289665 It's a little bit confusing because the below diagram seems to teach a slightly different method (or is it the same?): http://hosting06.imagecross.com/image-hosting-07/7591FUEL.jpg Is there one method which betters the other? The former (NARVA relay) seems easier.
  7. I have searched, perhaps my skills in doing so aren't quite up to scratch but have done so regardless. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/218752-nismo-fuel-pump-for-32-gtr/ So I plan on using a Nismo pump in a 33 gtr, to my understanding, they flow 276L/h @ 12.5V Stock wiring to fuel pump generally does not see 12.5V does it? Therefore I'd like to know if it is just as important to rewire for the Nismo as there was no answer to a similar question in the above thread. Regards Michael
  8. MUZT3K you have PM
  9. Bump !
  10. Not black but I think I prefer these non clear tail lights The car looks less fancy, all business
  11. ok, is there another search engine to find equivalent info about such cars?
  12. http://www.carsales....998&sort=~Price R34 motor right? Doesn't seem to mentioned in comments, unless of course owner stripped paint off plenum and painted rocker cover as mock up. Could this be a dodgy car? Reason I ask is because I looked up the VIN on RAWS website and there are no records of it on there. However the VIN does show up on vic roads VRE. Makes me wonder what's happened there.
  13. Cheaper to insure a VSPEC 33R than a non VSPEC 33R (RACV) By around $200 for real? hahaha
  14. As title states, I'm after an R33 GTR with the following being preferences but not essential: - White - Stock to bolt on modifications - Series 1 or 2 - Import papers/Logs/Receipts/Dyno etc I have seen a white one on Carsales which seemed promising until I went to see the car. Had a cheap respray and a few things weren't right. There's about four other white ones on there atm. The owner of one mentioned that he has a "4wd switch" installed to direct torque to the rear wheels only. I'm almost certain if not completely that the 33R will never be able to do so due to the transfer case config. Hence I'm a little skeptical about this car, despite it looking "a little bit ok" through photos. If there's any R33 GTRs that you guys believe I should look at, do not hesitate to link me. Kindest regards Michael
  15. Nissan HQ in Yokohama? That place is amazing (including the girls). Re: Nismo Omori factory. What time did you get there and what day? They're known to have wierd trading hours. Sometimes due to attending races I guess.
  16. LOL he's running KU31's so yes definitely could do with much better tyres, so with 350 you have a useable 1st and 2nd gear?
  17. would love to see "the new 300" doing work at places like the GOR. 320 was hardly useable in 1st and 2nd on the street (265/35/18). 400 is starting to tread into dyno queen territory lol
  18. Sat in a mates 320rwkw r34 gtr tonight, my goodness, those chasing more need to get their brains checked, me included!
  19. Properly inflating your tyres will reduce oil consumption lmaooo senior engineer of union of concerned scientists. Removing weight from the car will also achieve similar results, or perhaps swapping out to a lower final drive so you're sitting on 1200rpm @ 60MPH instead of 2000rpm. Just in case it's consuming too much oil at higher engine speeds. I hope this is a joke
  20. yeah as and trial are about 100m away from each other. not easy to get to though if you're traveling via public transport and foot. they were very welcoming, allowed me to take unlimited photos despite my poor japanese. the one i went to is super autobacs in tokyo. it's just across the road from shinonome station. was quite a bit bigger than your average autobarn/supercheap there was SOME stuff there. alot of interior, exterior stuff, wheels and wide view mirrors lol. it wasnt like you could buy a pfc or turbos off the shelf, perhaps you could order it through them, which i tried ordering a nardi wheel through them, but it was gonna take two weeks which i didn't have. I'm sure some would be familiar with this place waiting room ended up buying myself a copy plenty of eye candy supposedly freshly painted the day before i was there tbc....
  21. For those who have the racepace systems; do they give you the luxury of choosing the style of tip and muffler? EG extra protrusion on the tip, angle cut, single or twin tip etc
