Centreline 72 Lipton Drive Thomastown 3073 These guys are awesome. They may seem a little blunt and plain at first, but they're willing to teach, do a great job and Glenn gets real excited when you chat about KA and KB Lasers. Thomastown shouldn't be TOO far from west side.

3.545FD to 4.111FD is a massive jump. You'll get to use that 6th gear on freeway. Makes for a better car to drive, much more responsive and torque is readily available. Downside is obviously the sacrifice in top speed and also slightly less km out of the tank. This is just based on driving a 4.4FD to 4.9FD Honda 1.8L engine

Gosh..it's too good to be true! In all honesty, what else other than a couple of dents did you notice about this car? E.G rust in boot/undercar, chassis damage, condition of body/interior not matching km etc I didn't expect to come across one so neat so quickly. I was hoping to have found one in Japan in November when I'm there for 2 weeks or when I get back. I was going to set out a good 6 months of searching for a decent R. I've already PM'ed him so we'll see when I can go over to have a look at it. Decisions!!

Dude that sucks..seriously..unfortunately I have heard of a few stories of skylines being stolen in the past. One that I remember clearly is the MP 34 vspec 2 that was stolen from essendon Westfield on the back of a truck. I am para too but I guess you just have to take all preventative measures and make sure you have full comp. Regarding driving the 32R's I'm assuming you mean to go to somebody whos currently got one for sale and ask for a test drive? I would if I was buying locally, but I'm honestly looking to import through yoshi. I find it a bit cruel to ask someone for a test drive when I'm not even intending to buy their car, just so I can test their car out. That's why I have chosen to take this approach, so I can meet people and make some friends along the way. Glad to hear you've got the soarer lined up, and I'm sure it'll be well locked up of not already in a safe carpark!
