  1. The Jatco made autos that nissan use all have the same flaw.......slow shift from 1-2.I have modded my R32 auto to get a reasonable 1-2 shift only to cause probs elsewere.Manual is the only option.
  2. I've almost completed the fitment of a apex type super charger on my R32 with RB25de motor, before I test it at full boost what it the safe limit for this stock engine? (running 6-8psi)

  4. I had the same problem ,but only about ten tries of the key would start.I turned out to be a loose battery lead. The nut clamping the lead was tight but wasn't gripping the terminal.Other wise check the fuse connections in the engine bay
  5. I have a 1992 skyline, the ID plate says the transmission is a RE5R01a which I believe denotes a 5 speed auto, but It has a 4 speed in it.Did 92 skylines ever have a 5 speed as a option?
  6. Shell optimax has something other fuels don't have........................ magnesium, which helps a lot with a fuller combustion.
  7. I have changed the clutch on a R33, R32 will be the same. You don't need to use any grease on the bearing as it will come pre packed
  8. Do the auto transmissions have their own computer or is there one for tranny and engine.I know the one in passenger foot well does engine, there is another box that looks like a ecu in drivers side foot well or is it?
  9. I have a R32 and the auto box was slipping on the 1-2 shift.Being a home mechanic I pulled it out and apart and replaced the shift band as it was worn out.Put it back in but is still slipping. It only slips when it is warmed up.My only other guess is the ECU has a glitch in it.Any one else have this problem or do all skyline auto slip when changing?.Any help welcome. The whole transmission was cleaned when I pulled it apart and new filter fitted.
