You have to rewire the manual gearbox reverse lights into the auto loom - they need to be wired to one of the connectors where the neutral lockout switch is now bridged.
Thanks - there is no AMB button on the R33 - but I assume the sensor is the same.
I have searched the topics you suggest and got heaps of info - but none on this sensor.
Cheers
I have just purchased a cheap Chinese made intercooler for my R33 Series 2. Looking at where it is meant to go, I seem to have a sensor about 300 from the top of the reinforcement bar and just to the drivers side of center - this will be in the way of teh new intercooler. I am concerned that this may be an airbag sensor.
Does anyone know what it is? Is it safe to move? (the mount is spot welded on so it will be a pain to move).
I am trying to find the plug/connectors for the reverse lights. This is the other socket(s) that I have in mind.
Anyone tell me which two pins are for the reverse lights?
This socket is front left next to the radiator. I will post aother pic of its position.
Thats the neutral switch you can see bridged - my guess is the reverse lights are somewhere in these sockets.
I seem to be one of a few trying to sort out their manual to auto conversion wiring. Can anyone tell me what this socket (circled) normally attaches to.
Yeah, I have the two wires from the gearbox sorted out, I just need to know what colour wires in the connector under the hood are for the reverse lights. Someone with a full wiring diagram should be able to tell me.
