Hey guys, how long do you think the rust pictured above can go untreated before it does some serious damage?

Where can I get me something to provide the electrons to the oxygen

What does this mean?

I was under the impression that fish oil prevents rust from non infected surfaces. Once rust is there wont it always keep growing until its removed?

It is surface rust. Should I take the paint I just went over it with off and coat in fish oil or?

Does it matter that I have touched up some spots which might still have rust underneath?

Hey guys, I have noticed some rust in my engine bay in a very hard to reach spot. It will be hard to treat it properly without taking the engine out. I have used sandpaper and a bit of thinners to remove as much as I can and have gone over it with a tiny paint brush but there are definitely some areas I have missed (my hand does not fit) I am planning on getting the engine rebuilt in a few years time and was wandering if there is anything I can do/use to prevent the rust from growing any further until I have the engine out and can do the proper treatment?

Was at work today (Western Suburbs) at about 11 when I heard the hail starting to hit, didn't look that bad and my car was undercover. One of the guys came in who was parked in the car park out front and reckons he copped some decent dents on the roof and guards. I went and had a look and the hail was less 8mm in size. I told him he was crazy but he was certain Anyone else cop anything?

1450 PSI is entry level power I guess If you put that within 2-3cm of the pannel it would have to do some sort of damage?

Only stating it as I heard it from this guy and have read it once or twice in the cosmetic/styling section. So I dont think it would be that unheard of

Very minor. You need the right light to be able to see them.

Fair enough, I just thought it might be possible on weaker parts of the car the roof being one.

Doors, boot lids, bonnets are one thing but the roof is thinner isnt it. Wouldnt it be more likely to dent. Hypothetically if you are standing over the roof pointing directly down on the centre of the roof. It would definitely leave a small dent wouldnt it?

Hi guys, just brought an EVO 8 MR. There where some slight dents on the roof and I asked the previous owner if he knew how they got there, he said that when he washed the car with his hi pressure cleaner it dented the pannel. Just wandering of this is actually possible or he was just talking... Thanks

Well I must say this is probably the cleanest one I have seen out of 8 cars, it has the least rust but still has rust nonetheless It would be a keeper if purchased and as for price. What kind of adjustment would you make for something like this. The car is around 18k advertised

Yer GTR's are money pits indeed haha. My only real concern was the other oil (under 200kms old) that would remain within the filter and it mixing with the new oil but I guess there is probably much more that would remain in the engine anyway.

Yes although, when the filter is new is it essential is what I mean to say?

Hey guys just need some advice. I am about to do a quick oil change with some Motul 10w40. I recently got the car from Japan and picked it up from compliance who done an oil change (not sure of oil) and filter change (OEM Nissan filter). I want to know if it is OK to just do an oil change and leave the filter as it is new or do I need to change that aswell? Thanks in advance.

They have a few negative feedback, might just buy it though.
