Odds are the ones you are looking at on carsales are rubbish. You get what you pay for. I doubt the car is straight, no rust, good paint and clean rails all for 9000.

How are the rails underneath? Any repair history? Is the paint original or has it been sprayed? Thanks

So do you mean the wire in the center of actual AFM or the connection from the plug to the AFM?

What do you mean by cleaning? Do you mean the plug, like get a cotton but and wipe the terminals? Ross

Hey guys, Lately my GT-R has been a bit strange. I will go for a drive and when I arrive wherever I am going and park the car. While it is in neutral the revs are very unstable it will just go up to around 1500 then drop to around 400. It used to be every 3rd day but it is becoming a daily occurrence. Even whilst driving now sometimes when on the throttle it cuts out a little. I am just trying to figure out what it might be or what it sounds like to you guys. I just done a major service, I am thinking what to try and replace next. I am thinking of doing coil packs and AFMs Does anyone have any advice? Ross

JSA is a joke. -Prices are a joke, -Cars are an even bigger joke. Alot of dodgey stuff going on there. Had a friend who brought a Supra from them about 1 year ago, car played up and he went back under warranty and in for a service. Timing belt snapped as it wasnt even changed and they didnt even change the oil and put a $900 bill on top. His mistake and he learnt the hard way. Plenty of other places with a good reputation. Try SSV or J-Spec. Cheaper and higher quality. I would stay away.

They dont have them in there shop. Do you just ask them for a custom one for the car or?

Well we are going to take a final look tomorrow. I guess worst comes to work you can sand it and fill out the imperfections..

Red GTR sounds like a better option IMO. Also you getting rid of the shell because of paint?? Just spray it its 20 years old the worse the paint is at least you know its more than likely original. If it is straight I wouldnt mind taking it off your hands if you still have it. Ross

Thanks the advice guys. Well i just wanted to clarify as non accident car, no previous damage history are thrown around alot when looking for a car. I know it may just be a selling point and I know that alot of it is not true but just wanted to see if there was any truth in buying car with an accident history. I guess it comes down to personal preferance. R32's are alot harder to find in good condition than most other skylines. so it's more so the point whether to keep looking or not. If it where a. R34 GTR I think we would have kept looking.
